*Long may you reign, traveler*

Thousands of years ago, when the world was simply a speck of stardust floating in space, a cauldron formed. The forces of the universe strung together the cauldron piece by piece, filling it with liquid as black as the night sky, and sprinkling some stars into the mix. It was almost as if the universe had put a bit of itself into its brand new creation. From here, the Gods were born as the first beings of the new world.

Oneiros, is the God of the Hunt. He provides plentiful food, or he may decide to withdraw food. He is the reason that the guilds of Encharvis do not starve. He is known to show up in the form of an all white elk, and is *not* to be killed. If it is found out that a wolf has killed the white elk, they will be killed on sight.

Auryk, is the Goddess of the Seasons and Marriage. She brings the four different seasons to the land, allowing the shift in weather to change. She also grants mates the blessing of being together. Auryk comes in the form of the leaves floating in the wind. A gentle breeze ruffling through the pelt of a wolf is a good indicator that she is near. It is known throughout the wolves that in order to become mates with your loved one, you must pray to the Goddess three times. This is so she knows your devotion to your significant other, and so she may grant you a happy and healthy relationship.

Osley, is the God of Death. He visits wolves who are breathing their last breath to take them to Gosvern, the wolves' idea of an afterlife. He comes in the form of a shadow, snuffing out any light that may be around. He is not feared, for he is welcomed. He means that a long life is coming to an end, so that there is no more suffering for the wolf that is dying. Welcome this God with open paws, and you shall be allowed into the hallowed halls of Gosvern. May you rest easy.

**Oneiros**, **Auryk**, and **Osley** are the three main gods that protect and defend Encharvis. They are believed to be the original three gods that created Encharvis.

In the honor of the cauldron and the three main gods, constellations were formed. The stars and space bent to their will, forging their path forever in the evening sky. There to remind the wolves of Encharvis who they are devoted to, they twinkle and shine around the Cauldron constellation. A tribute to the creator of their world. The mother that birthed them and gave them their new found sanctuary — Encharvis.

What is Encharvis?

Soven Zootah - Encharvis, has been around for eons and has become a safe haven for a plethora of species. It has lush meadows, dense forests, bone chilling mountains, and much more, which has made it the perfect place for all sorts of different species to thrive in, while it is also the perfect place to conquer.

Wolves, other large mammals, smaller critters, and interesting creatures alike took refuge on the continent, building their lives from the ground up in search for something new and something safe. Tall tales became real as the number of wolves increased and wolves became the rulers of Encharvis. Different cultures came together as well. Though the elders of the land shared their secrets, speaking of the Gods who made this safe haven and expressed their love for them. Those gods being Oneiros, Auryk, and Osley. They are loved deeply by all of the wolves, and wolves find comfort in praying to them. Although many wolves believe in other gods, **all** the wolves believe in these big three.

As more wolves adopted these Gods, they built three major shrines that are sacred sites for the Gods. To give tribute to the ones who rule above them, the Gods blessed these shrines with magic. It is said that if you are deemed worthy, you could potentially receive a blessing from one of the Gods you pray to. Though, it has never been done. Or, has it?

With wolves now primarily dominating Encharvis, they have formed a special bond with the magic that is spread throughout the lands. Encharvis is a magical place, best known for the wisps that inhabit the land, blessing the creatures with their presence. The wisps have become companions of the wolves, finding their masters when they are born, and sticking with them throughout their life. A wolf cannot live without their wisp, and vice versa. If one dies, the other will as well. A friend until the end, some would say.

The continent of Encharvis has seen turmoil in more recent years. As time went on, the wolves began to become restless. Living in harmony became difficult, forcing the wolves to pick sides. Thus, the four elder packs were born. Elskah Vokun, the wolves of stone and snow; Ved Sos, the wolves of steel and fire; Sos Kiin, the wolves who are the healers of the land; and Lok Staaz, the wolves of the capital in the sky. The alphas and betas of these packs, now known as *guilds*, came together to form the Bone Council, and there forward began to create and put into practice laws for all of Encharvis to follow. For a long time, this worked well. It kept the guilds in order, and it kept rogues at bay. It was a solid solution for many decades. Then, the rebellion took place.

Rogues and members of the guilds rebelled against the bone council, finding it foolish that only a select few of the oldest wolves got to create laws that suited them and not others. So guild members and lone wolves known as rogues began to hire assassins to take out those with notoriety. It was their way of snuffing out the law makers and to put others in power. This led to the creation of the assassins. These wolves are ruthless and have little to no regard for the hierarchy of things, let alone the laws that have been put in place. In fact, they were able to wipe out one of the guilds - Strunmah Rahgol; wolves of the mountains. However, they could find their return, if someone were to be able to dig up the information on them.

Riots and assassinations were carried out as wolves from guilds all over the nation tried to take those who have power out. The time of peace no more. So, as a last ditch effort, the wolves of the Bone Council collected the different pieces of the Cauldron and prayed to a Dark God. Begging him for power, for control of the wolves so that they may once again live in peace. But every coin has two sides. The Dark God granted their wish, but it came with a price. Without knowing so, they unleashed the Dark God upon the wolves. He slaughtered and ate those who bowed down to him, saying that his 'children' were a sacrifice that needed to be done.

Regretting their decision, those who remained in the Bone Council came together once more and found the missing pieces of the Cauldron. Using their shared strength, they prayed to the Big Three Gods, begging and pleading for their forgiveness for the sin they had committed. Now asking to bury this Dark God. The Big Three would grant them their wish and wash them of their sins, but they too needed a sacrifice. A mortal life, for that of a God. The Beta from Ved Sos agreed to be the mortal, and stood in the middle of the shrine. Accepting the offer, the Big Three came together in a battle against forces and banished the Dark God deep within the grounds of the sacred shrine.

The Beta of the Ved Sos pack fell, but in his place, a sapling grew. Immortalizing the brave wolf who sacrificed himself, the Gods repaid him by creating him into a tree in which the wisps would inhabit and grow from. A new place for the members of his guild to call home.

To prevent the wolves from abusing the cauldron and its power, and to prevent them from summoning the Gods to constantly fix their mistakes, the Big Three broke the cauldron into three pieces and hid them throughout the continent. With that, with a final kiss of magic, the Big Three removed the cauldron and it's existence from the wolves' memories. The Gods refused to be a pawn in their game. So, they would sit in the night sky and watch from above.

As we come upon present day, the guilds, the rogues, the hunters, and the assassins are living in a time of peace and tranquility, but for how long? It is rumored that another rebellion is stirring, so, traveler…
