Seeking 1x1 literate, forum-based partner(s)

Hello!

My name is Marmot, I use they/them or he/him pronouns. I'm a... person? in my early 20s living in the Pacific Northwest (PST/PDT). I've been roleplaying for about 10 years now and I'm seeking others who would be interested in doing semi-literate to literate roleplay on the Wolvden forums or, if we have to, via email or Discord. I'm up for sharing social media/Discord contact info to chat about stuff, too.

What you can expect from me:
  • Replies that are at least a paragraph long, but often 3-5 paragraphs.

  • Frequent workshopping of characters, AU concepts, etc. I really enjoy imagining and discussing different scenarios once we've established something that works.

  • Replies usually within two days of when you've last replied. I get brainworms about my characters and replies. (That said, I'm currently applying to jobs and stuff so once I have something I'll be less likely to reply often. Right now I'm spending a lot of time online because I'm in limbo.)

  • If it goes really well I'll probably draw our characters at least once, and share songs that remind me of them.

If these describe you, please message me:

  • You write replies that match the length I listed above.

  • You like discussing character ideas outside of our RP, maybe even memeing on our characters? You enjoy discussing worldbuilding.

  • You can reply at least once a week.

  • You're 18+, respectful of my pronouns, and not weird/fetish-y about F/F and/or M/M pairings. (Do I still need to include that? I used to when I was younger and it's kind of just stuck.)

I'm interested in the following concepts:
  • Werewolves, either modern or historical times (tell me what historical settings you like!)

  • Time travel where, in particular, a character goes back or forward in time and gets stuck (relying on the other for help)

  • Warrior cats, wolf clans (including our own?)

  • Modern fantasy settings

  • Do you have a particular plot that's never gone right? Something you'd like to try out? Message me about it!

I'm not really interested in the following:

  • Romance-heavy plots. It can happen, but it's not my goal?

  • High school settings

  • Roleplaying canon characters from any media

Thanks for reading! I hope to hear from you soon!
