You know, i always thought enemy encounters were from aggressive animals confronting me, but i just now noticed the text some animals display at the beginning of the battle mention them "trying to slip away unnoticed" or otherwise trying to do the opposite of fight me, despite the aggressive art displayed.

Almost makes me feel like my wolf is the bad guy haha, i thought all the enemies i found wanted to start a fight? Obviously they're fake pixels,but it almost makes me feel bad. Maybe i should just stick to fighting wolf packs (they came for a fight for sure!) Or prey animals exclusively from now on 		ashlychee

The way I see it, we are all trying to survive.  An "aggressive display" is not necessarily true.  Perhaps from their perspective, you do look scary.  Posturing, the way I understand it, is what comes before attacks are exchanged and is a way to hopefully deter such an occurrence.

Keep in mind, this is only my opinion, of course!

And with Prey in particular, if you hover over the dice roll during combat (or at the Finish button if you like) you will see +1 Prey Opponent ~ so you have an advantage with deer, et cetera who definitely display a lowered antler rack.  I would do the same at a nearby predator!
