Oooof. So... I kind of made a mistake because I thought my current stud was inbred free, but it turns out he's not... from way back.
It's not that this necessarily bothers me, but I do know it bothers some... and then I've also been looking through my cave and really thinking about what direction I want to go with my wolves. I was thinking of starting to aim for high stat, non inbred wolves... but then I was wondering if it even bothers people at all?

How do you keep track of it all? Is there certain groups of people to cater to? At this point I'm tempted to chase half my wolves and more or less just start from scratch. But maaan did I spend some GC on this new inbred stud... ouch.

I only care about inbreeding within five generations, and sometimes not even then if it’s mild enough and far enough back. But I don’t stud very often, so. 🤷‍♀️

Full NIB wolves sell for more, true, but for me it’s kind of like... is the extra money worth the extra time and stress? You’ve already customized this stud, do you like him? Is the difference in income worth finding a new stud and starting over?

@Badger says: "You’ve already customized this stud, do you like him? Is the difference in income worth finding a new stud and starting over?"

I agree with Badger. There are so many market sub-groups (t3s! specials! natural wolves vs. colorful wolves! aesthetic high stats! specialized hunting high stats! etc.) that you really can't please everyone. The most important thing with a stud is that you like him and his pups.

But also, if you want to get into high-stat breeding, I can give advice. Were you thinking of any particular kind of stat breeding?
