Choosing a stud

How do you guys decide on which wolf to choose? Is there certain markings and mutations that tend to be more popular? I was thinking of making my next stud my boy with a secondary mutation of albinism, is that a good or bad idea?

you are looking for rare marks or rare bases (tier iii or tier ii). lower generations (either gen 2 or gen 1) tend to  be the most valuable. you want to max out your stud's stats - that means making them a scout. rare marks would include things like merle or shepard and zircon or ducat, etc. as far as albinism or mutations in general, you generally will want to see if they are mutie carriers.
