Opinion + tips about my new character?

Howdy!

I've been trying to get back into art lately, and I'd love opinions about this oc. I've been having the concept in my head for awhile and I'm finally be able to actually draw it. But I feel like something is just missing? The design is a bit plain but I don't want it to get too complicated either.

She's basically some sort of fluffy canine..dragon..deer... thing with a big scar? I like her design so far, the color just aren't my thing. I wanted to base her off the Lioden Hibiscus base but i kinda failed with the yellow/orange tones. 

rosettes would be cool, but oh boy that would be a pain in the ass to draw.

Maybe adding markings or more tones?? You could also try drawing a few little sketches to try and get a feel of how you want the character to look!
