The Rivals - Roleplay

Celeste raised a skeptical eyebrow at the girl. "She's probably throw him out into the woods, and let nature take it's course," She said, crossing her arms. "You know how strict she is with rules." Glancing around, Celeste closed the bedroom door, thinking hard. If anyone found out, they would both be toast.

"I'll keep this between us for now, uh, what's your name?" She asked, glancing at the chihuahua.

---

Violet managed to gather all her things into a pile with the help of the tall girl she had bumped into. Heaving her sketchbooks into her arms, she wiped her tears with her sleeve. "I-I'm fine," She stuttered, looking down at her feet. She hugged her books to her chest. "Thank you!" She dashed into an empty room, stray papers fluttering in the air and landing on the ground. Violet took no notice, and slammed her new bedroom door behind her.

(If Nadia bothered to look close enough, she could see some of Violet's sketches, but that's totally up to you!)

Luna gasped and she picked up Luka, holding him protectively close to her chest, "I wont let her hurt him" she growled, "Im Luna. He´s Luka" she added. Luka sensing her worry let out a soft whine before he licked her cheek, she looked down at him "you where supposed to stay home with Opal and mom and Dad" she said  shaking her head

Nadia stood there in the middle of the common room for a solid minute, still reeling from that interaction. Once she composed herself she noticed the papers scattered on the ground, she carefully picked them up without giving in to her curiosity to check them, the girl seemed shy and she wasn't sure if she would be ok with Nadia seeing her art. Once she had gathered all of them up she went to the door Violet had gone through and knocked, without waiting for an answer she said, "You left some of your papers here, I'll put them in the table and you can come pick them up whenever."

She didn't want to overwhelm the girl and she knew she could be kind of intimidating at first, so she was planning to leave them there and go put her things in her room.

Celeste nodded to Luna, and briefly rested a hand on Luka's tiny head. "I really don't know how you're going to hide him for a month though," She said, opening the door. Exiting the room, she closed the door behind her.

Entering her own room, she neatly placed her things in the empty drawers: laptop, airpods, phone, pencils, notebook, suncream, clothes, snacks, binoculars and other junk. Closing the drawers, she sighed a little.

---

Violet tensed, hearing the girl's voice outside the door. Opening the door a crack, she murmured a quick thank you before slipping out, grasping her papers from the table, and disappearing into her room.

A sigh of relief escaped her mouth. She'd almost lost her drawings! Clutching them lovingly in her hands, she slipped them back into her folder. She needed these for her porfolio, to get into the art program. Curling up onto her bed, she remembered the nice girl's face. Her hair, her eyes... grabbing a sketchbook, she flipped to an empty page, drawing as fast as she could. She had to draw the girl. She had to.

Luna watched Celeste leave then looked at Luka, "oh what am I going to do with you?" she asked with a sad sigh, biting her lower lip, "maybe if I tell Headmaster Sinclair the truth and explain that I didn't meant to bring you at all maybe she would be understanding" she whispered...she had doubts about that though

Nadia acknowledged the girl's thank you and picked up her things to put in her room, the one nearest her. Once she dropped them, she took off her backpack, drank some water, took out her phone and earphones and put on some relaxing music while she organized her stuff.

Once finished she dropped onto her bed and again lamented having left her guitar home, it would have been great way to unwind for a bit, but she didn't want anything to happen to it, it had been her father's and before that, her grandmother's guitar so she was extremely careful with it. With tha tought she closed her eyes and waited until the teacher called for them.

Grayson looked around at all of the other students bustling about, grabbing friends and dragging or bringing them into cabins. He had one hand in his pocket, the other absentmindedly twirling a pen. He took off his glasses and wiped some sweat off of his face, putting them back on and pushing them up for extra measure.

His backpack was fit comfortably on him, but standing in one spot was making it heavy. Luckily no one bumped into him. It was kind of hard to, given his height. He wasn't the tallest, but he surely was up there, which gave him a little advantage.

He shifted on his feet, taking a moment to brush some hair out of his face, quickly stuffing his right hand back in his pocket. He looked at the cabins, then scanned the slowly shrinking crowd of people. His eyes settled on a tall guy with black hair like himself, paired with some pale brown eyes.

When he realized they were just looking at each other, he shook his head quickly and took a few steps back, trying to make himself look busy after apologizing for almost running into a group of girls. He wasn't ready to talk to anyone in the slightest right now, especially people like, well, Veles was his name, right?

((I'm not sure where to put Eileen right now so I'll just put her in later :,) ))

Celeste lay on her bed, typing out a text to her mother. "I'm here at the campsite," It read. After a moment's hesitation she sent it. Almost immediately her mother replied. "Okay, dear. Have fun, and don't get into trouble."

Sending a thumbs up emoji in return, she shut off her phone, looking up at the ceiling.

---

Violet looked down at her sketch, amazed. The features of the girl were there: white streaks, black-gray hair, hazel eyes. Violet didn't notice her hands were covered in oil pastels, or that there was a streak of blue-green on her face. The drawing was perfect.

Ophelia walked towards a cabin, quickly entering before she could be bothered by someone. She quietly closed the door as she entered, hoping no one saw her as she came in. The cabin was silent and Ophelia guessed she was the first one here or everyone was locked away. She glanced to the left, noticing an empty bedroom with no one inside. Ophelia closed the door behind her as she sprinted inside before anyone could walk in.

Ophelia laid flat on the bed in the room, ignoring the shrieks of excitement coming from outside. They all seemed to recognize each other, yet Ophelia hadn’t seen a single one of her friends, not that she had too many. She usually blended with the background whenever school came along, trying not to be noticed. Somehow, though, she enjoyed it. She loved not having the attention some girls in her school got. The pressure would be just too much for Ophelia.

She kicked off her shoes, hoping it would make her less hot than she already was. Still, she felt the heat rising towards her. Ophelia obviously didn’t get the message NOT to wear long clothes, as she was a long-sleeve sweatshirt with jeans. Even though the temperature was similar to when she was home, she had expected there to be at least some breeze. Yet, the sun blazed without a hint of wind.

She lifted herself off the bed to get her luggage out. As she zipped it open, she had realized all her clothes were somewhat similar. She sighed, looking at it. Ophelia had decided to take out her belongings from home first and decorate her bedroom a bit. After minutes passing by, she had moved on to putting things in her drawer. Finishing up, she looked around the room, as plain as ever. Perfect, she had thought. Finally, Ophelia reached to the bottom of the suitcase and saw just one bottle of sunscreen. She hoped it would last.

Celeste got out of the bed, rummaging through her bag. Pulling out the camp schedule, she looked through the list of activities they were to do:

-Hiking

-Swimming

-Nature-related Activities

Inwardly, Celeste groaned. The list already made her feel exhausted. Stuffing the schedule in her bag, she opened the window, room beginning to feel a bit stifling.

---

Creeping out of her room, she glanced at the room the girl had went in. Lightly knocking on the door, she slipped the drawing in front and quickly returned to her room, silently closing the door. Her fingers trembled with excitement, horror and nervousness as she pulled out her headphones and put them over her ears, blasting music.
