Hello! I'm Wicked, he/him, 24 in July, looking for an RP partner of a similar age who's interested in high fantasy, supernatural, or sci-fi themes. I comfortably write 1-4 paragraphs per post, but I tend to match whatever length my partner gives me and have in the past managed to write several pages per post (though it took me ages every time). I'm ADHD and have a bad habit of losing interest in RPs after a few weeks and wanting to start a different one, so, fair warning. I will try not to, but I can't guarantee I won't lost interest after a week or two and run off to go do something else.

I do want to write a romance, but I'm not interested in women or in writing a character who's interested in women. I'm also not interested in writing as a female character. Male or NB characters are fine, as well as potentially genderfluid or demigendered characters.

I have a handful of plots in mind that I'll detail below along with the characters I have in mind to play as for them. I would prefer to RP either in a forum topic or in a google document. If you're interested, please post here or PM me!

Plot Ideas
In a medieval, high fantasy setting, warring tribes of orcs are disrupting trade routes between human villages and causing casualties among the innocent villagers. The truce between races is more tenuous than ever, held together only due to the current disparity in military strength between the rivaling orcs and the united humans. This changes in an instant when a minor human lord sends his men to slaughter the civilian orcs of a neighboring stronghold while their warriors were away, fighting an enemy tribe. My character, a half-orc warrior called Kortz, returns to his home razed to the ground by the humans unprovoked, and the entire country suddenly sits on the edge of a bloody, drawn out war. Though that war would certainly spell death for all of the country's orcs, no one would escape unscathed and the entire country would be weaker for it.

You could potentially play as a human nobleman of some rank sent to smooth things over with Kortz's remaining tribesmen, or as the minor lord that began this whole mess to begin with. You could play as another orc from Kortz's tribe that he confides in as he tries to find the best way to lead his tribe through this nonsense, or even an orc from a rival tribe that Kortz has to deal with while preparing for war with the humans. You're also free to think of your own angle on the plot if you have your own ideas.

In a Victorian high fantasy setting, magic pulses weakly through the core of the earth, slowly dying as humanity advances technology and begins the ruination of the planet around them. Long forgotten by the humans due to their long avoidance of the troublesome and dangerous land species, Merfolk hasten to find ways to restore magic to what it once was, but without access to the land and the dying sources of magic that wind through the forests, the mountains, and even the ancient ruins of lost civilizations, nothing can be done. My character is Aranis, a studious young merman chosen by his pod to walk the earth as man in a final effort to restore the balance of magic and bring their world back to the chaotic, wild beauty of old. Using the last of his kins' weakened magic, he exchanges his scales for skin, his tail for legs, his gills for lungs, and steps out onto the beach, determined not to squander this opportunity.

You might play as any species you could think of in this scenario. The oblivious human, or a supernatural creature curious to see a merman walking on human legs, a help or a hindrance. A human character shouldn't be aware of my character's species or goals, at least not at first, and a supernatural character should be fairly solitary with their own species facing imminent extinction and various difficulties due to weakening magic.

❖In a dystopian sci-fi setting, the world is a busy place full of busy people where you either work yourself to death in order to keep up or you get left behind. Pollution and war have rendered most of the once beautiful blue and green planet home to the humans uninhabitable, with all remaining life now restrained to specific areas under tight environmental control. Their leaders are as corrupt as they've ever been, but with the population now firmly separated into the impoverished poor who are forced to remain here with nothing simply because they have no way to leave, and the lavishly rich who are blind, deaf, and dumb to the plights of their less fortunate neighbors, there is no longer any way for things to improve. My character is Arseny Abramov, the executive assistant to a wealthy CEO who is disillusioned with the world around him and dreams of abandoning his job and moving off planet to one of the colonies as soon as he saves up the money for the shuttle.

You could play as virtually any kind of character you like here. Human, android, supernatural- maybe an impoverished rebel with plans to stage anarchy or a privileged millionaire who doesn't understand what the big deal is. It's up to you. We could even play this out on a colony planet after Arseny really does make that move.

Alternatively, I'm also interested in fandom RP for BNHA, DC, Marvel, OPM, Overwatch, FFXIV and a handful of others. Feel free to ask me about a specific fandom and if I'm familiar with it we can talk about pairings. Please be aware that I'm a bit pickier with how my partner writes their character in this type of RP, however- don't suggest this unless you're sure you can pull the character off convincingly!

I am interested. I am willing to RP a male character. I am currently in a D&D campaign, and the setting is fantasy, so I am fairly familiar with the likes.
