Southwest wolves 🏜

Southwest wolves 🏜

So I was thinking about starting a clan/family/breeding project for those who are obsessed with the southwest and are interested in doing desert biomes. So places like Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Southern California, Nevada, Southern Colorado, etc. Plus those backgrounds in the wardrobe are so pretty!

But yeah, so maybe focusing on wolves that resemble Mexican grey wolves.. or wolves that have have a natural coloring that would do well in the desert? Reds, browns, tans, etc. (Also, I realize most of my wolves don't fall under this category.. I was so excited to start the game I did a bunch of random colors. Going to be fixing it soon.)

And once we have enough interest we could make a clan or whatever. Tbh, I'm not really sure how to run anything like that.. I kinda glanced through some of the other groups to see if there was anything similar and I didn't see anything. But if anyone is interested let me know!

I made these wolves in the wardrobe and this is the aesthetic I'm leaning toward:

Also, these are the wolves I already have:

ayezan - queen

sobo - beta

ayida - pupsitter

Hi! If you guys ever did do a pack for natural colors I would totally join! It’s arguably prettier to see a wolf with a good natural palette than say rainbows.

There is a much much bigger group for wolves with natural colors. I'm specifically thinking of the reddish/tan hues that one would see in Mexican Gray wolves. :) But I'd happy to have someone else join me. Not really sure what I'm doing as far as starting a clan, but I'm open to anything!

Sounds good! I’ve got a soft spot for red and tan wolves for whatever reason, if you guys do start something let me know!

Newbie here but I'd be keen to join in! My lead wolf fits your colour description to a T :)

Yay! Hi. I'm glad people are seeing this. I would love to have more people join!

I also added some images/links to the main post! Gives a better idea of what I'm personally going for and hopefully what we can build off and toward! ✨
