Melanistic pups and possible carriers

I just had a litter of 4 pups, 2 are melanistic, 2 aren’t. The two that aren’t are too young to scry, but I assume they might be carriers since both their parents are melanistic. How much would they sell for?

First of all - there isn't a "too young to scry" anymore! Since Gene's Hollow has been introduced, you can scry pups of any age for mutations :)

Anyway, looking at the pups, I'm noticing that they're inbred off the first page. Different players play different ways in regards to inbreeding, and whether it counts if it's not visible on the first page of a family tree, but in general pups that are inbred in any way will be worth significantly less. I took a look at TC prices and I don't think you'll be able to sell the mels for any more than 3-4gc, unfortunately, and the carriers might not even go for 1gc. The pups all seem to be T1 as well with low stats which isn't great either. You could try and lower the price by 20-50sc intervals over time until they get bought out, but you might not have much luck selling them - the mutie market really took a hit when the fox base came out :(
