Oh will do!  Yeah the reason I haven’t done much absurdly colorful yet has actually been an issue of size— the majority of the most colorful birds out there tend to be little passerines, so their wings would look incredibly dinky on a cape if I was even in the vaguely right ballpark of size against a wolf.  Someone pointed out yesterday though that with the lunar event, I even have a canon excuse to bend some aesthetic and nature rules, so ??????

I am seriously tempted to bullshit that the lunar world has some giant ass songbirds JUST for that.  Also heck, I hadn’t even thought to circle back to owl wings.  I should do those again.

And not only giant purple glowy violet starling wings but said wings with LUNAR EVENT AESTHETIC, so I’d probably like... pair it to a lunar leopard or lunar maned wolf pelt or something with some striking color contrast and inherent glow?  Would that be a thing that’s wanted????

1 those decors are beautiful and extremely well done (im sure you know this but heyo im sayin it anyway XD)

second of all, not sure if its something youd ever want to tackle but what about wings for all those mossy furballs out there? XD  the khaki, serpentine and honeydews? 

either way those capes are always awesome to see come out.

snowy owl wings would be The Shit because like half my concepted feathery decors have that sort of black speckled/barred look to em so there'd be some great matching going on ahaha.

rip your to-do list though, you're literally never going to run out of capes to draw

oh also RE the mossy wolf capes - IBIS??? like there's already iridescent green ibis feathers in the game, and ibis explore encounters, it'd just be so fitting
