Mel's Fishing Tracker

I joined like two days ago and I immediately got hooked on the Fishing mini-game. I saw some people keep tracker threads of their progress so I figured I'd do the same. I think I'm going to use this thread to document my fishing experience because having moved now I find the difference between biomes interesting.

Biggest overall catch: Bigmouth Buffalo 41lb 8.11oz

Legendary count: Common Snapping Turtle x1, Shovelnose Sturgeon x3, Green Sturgeon x1, Western Pond Turtle x1

Biome experiences

Deciduous Forest
-Plentiful, potentially the reason why it's the biome with the most competitive leaderboard? 
-Big fish, very easy to get fish that are double digits in lb within the 10 minute window.
-Average daily best fish between 29lb - 41lb

Coniferous Forest
-Less plentiful but decent hauls. Easy to get on the leaderboard by collecting the daily 100SC.
-A lot of smaller fish. Most fish are less than 1lb, a lot of trash fish that are smaller than 1oz even. 
-The leaderboard is decently active so it's possible the smaller numbers are due to smaller fish average.
-Still pretty easy to get >5lb within the 10 minute window.
-Freshwater Drum and Pink Salmon best fish for accumulating weight for daily haul.
