🐍 Serpentine Raise and Chase Project 🐍

      The Project:      

There is a massive problem in the Cool T3 gene pool, mainly being that almost all (if not all when you look far back enough) Cool T3 studs are related to Toska and other big name studs. If we want to keep lines clean, we need more diversity. This breeding project is aiming to fix that! I have two pairs of Serpentine wolves (see below) that I'm going to be breeding as often as possible, and hopefully raising all their Serpentine pups to be chased. This thread will showcase my breeding pairs and keep track of all my released Serpentines! I will be checking the crossroads every few days after release to see if any of them have been found. 

Current Project Status As of 3/15/21:The first litter of serpentines has been born, and there are links to all the puppies in a reply below this post!

If you would like to help out with the project, I am always accepting currency, blue, black, or white sage, and unwanted Serpentines to make additional raise and chase pairs (it does not matter if they're inbred either).

        Stats on T3 Breeding:        

Note: I will be sourcing this information from the Grouse House Genetics Guide: however, as the game changes it may not be as accurate, for now this is up to date information!

Tier III x Tier III with Matching Categories (Fox x Mojave)
Tier I: 32.5%
Tier II: 40%
Tier III: 27.5%
*These same rates applied to a breeding of two matching Tier III bases (Fox x Fox, or in our case Serpentine x Serpentine). So,  on average, any litter I produce that contains three pups or more will have at least one Serpentine. 

Also, using these chased Serpentines we can theoretically breed T3 wolves of any other base shade and color. You cannot "breed up" in regards to base darkness (light/medium/dark) but you can breed down! Of course, breeding more dark T3's would be the easiest, but overall the goal is just to diversify the T3 gene pool in a quick and efficient way.

Edit #1, 3/14/21:  I updated my breeding pairs list, adding Pair 3 and Pair 4, changed the image format to be smaller and easier to see, added a current project status, added a looking for section, and figured out how to add cute colorful text!

Pup Updates:

3/15/21: Streline and Apikai have had their first litter! I was gifted an Instant Pup Delivery from @kase #3095, and checking the litter 4 out of the 5 pups are Serpentines! There are three males and one female, all will be chased upon reaching adulthood 24 rollovers from today on 5/9/21.

3/27/21: I got a bit bogged down by finals, but during finals week Tebilo and Varisema had their first litter! Two of the four pups were Serpentines. Both are female! Both will be chased on 5/14.

Thank you for your interest in helping out @Kay! Right now, I think what I need the most are sages (any sage, just for litter sizes), aging crystals (only 1 of my breeding pairs is old enough to breed atm), or instant pup deliveries, but I'll take anything!

Looks like you chased the first set? Hope they are found. I started a bronze project. Had my first one born today.
