Those are such great tweaks, thank you very much for implementing them!

I already noticed I have a much easier time battling opponents that have a higher level and/or more HP than my lead, simply because the moves I choose have different effects now. I already beat several foes that I would have otherwise lost to pre-update.

[Small edit: My lead just won a fight without losing a single HP. This update really feels great!]

Also loving that healing salves now give extra health when used. Though I have to agree with post #383608 in that I'm somewhat less likely to use them when my lead is at 25/39 HP, because it feels like I'd be "wasting" precious HP. Perhaps "re-introducing" a small salve (+10 HP) could solve this problem? Although right now, I'm not as concerned about that because as I said, my lead can take on stronger opponents with the updated battle system, so there seems to be some kind of balance.

And last but not least, I'm absolutely loving the new time of day cooldown! This will come in sooo handy in a couple days and during future events :D

The only thing I'm kind of eh on here is the Healing Salves. I definitely appreciate the boost, but as others have said, the likelihood of 'wasting' HP is pretty high. It might be better to, instead of having doubled the efficiency of a single heal, double their uses. A 4-use Healing Salve with 10HP per heal would still restore 40 health total, but only waste 5HP instead of 15HP if you're just topping up a 40/45HP wolf before taking on a potentially difficult battle. (Not sure if this would make the ones from the herbalists 5-use or 6-use, though, since I don't know if the intention was 'give them 20HP more' or 'give them one more use?') And I have to agree with the people on the Rich Healing Salves still not being worth it in comparison. It takes 13 more herbs - some with higher rarity - to get 10 more HP and you're likely to waste a lot of the HP anyway. (Personal fix for this would be nuke the herb count down to three or four and give the salve multiple uses of smaller HP values that add up to more than the normal Healing Salve's ability, but that's just me.)

Other than that, this is so far looking good - especially the use of herbalist proficiency. A'szu is going to be so happy to make things other than anti-poop soup meds for Meziki. XD The real test, however, will be when the event rolls out - really excited 'cause Meziki's gonna hit 20 if I can push him through a chunk of battles. Might even make me re-think the scout-before-crowning strategy I'm using for my next lead if lunar event battling proves to be more efficient.

Now, I need to go convert some more herbs to Charcoal since the Glacier is being mean and not giving me any. :P
