Gods Among Us ψ

     Gods Among Us is a roleplay about people chosen to host gods of all pantheons, from Norse to Egyptian, Roman to Greek. These people walk among normal men, but hold a dangerous and powerful secret that may shape the destiny of humanity. Odd things have been happening since the gods awakened inside mere mortals, magical creatures are roaming the streets, seemingly invisible to the naked eye, and those with prolonged exposure to this magic seem to develop their own magical affinity! You must find each other, each godling holding the essence of the creation of humanity, and decide if your allies are really your allies. Humans lie, and you above all may know that, as either the liar disguising a foul, heartless god, or the one being lied to.
     Remember, all gods may surface, not just the peaceful creators, but also the unstable, war torn deities of the old and seemingly lost times. Be wary, Godling, for your path will be tough, but your potential limitless. Gods normally leave a mark, or a tattoo on their godlings and that can be used as an identifier to others, but they are not limited to tattoos, they can also be eye details, skin texture, and even another form of their god's sacred animal given their affinity with their god. Along with these marks, Godlings also possess one or two powers that their god has trained them to control, and may learn more as time progresses and their connection with their gods grows. The adventure begins when you choose to either stand for your beliefs or fight defending them, will you join us?

Rules

This roleplay is intended to be a semi-literate mature roleplay, but I will not be holding any paragraph or sentence minimums/maximums! Just keep in mind the following and have fun:

• There can be no obviously romantic or sexual interactions between characters that are below 18 and those that are 19+, this includes a 17 year old character and a 19 year old character. The base consent age in this roleplay will be 18, no matter the consent age of the area you live in.
• Don't be rude to other players or directly attack them through their characters. If you have an issue with anything please contact me either through PM here or on discord at ˡ ᵒ ᵛ ᵉ ˡ ʸ.#6742
• Don't let your god limit you, your character is their own entity aside from the god they hold inside of them!
• If you would like to or have ideas on how to further the plot/events you think would be fun don't hesitate to PM me.
• Any form of bigotry, racism, homophobia, xenophobia, and anything directly attacking someone for their preferences, gender identity, gender expression, race, religion, or ethnicity/nationality is not allowed and will be reported. Please don't use slurs, even if your character can reclaim them, not everyone that can reclaim them is comfortable with them.

Airedale - Airedale is a rather bustling city with tall, towering, buildings and a large amount of apartments. This also gives it many back alleys and areas to slick around in. The large population also reaps the idea of many godlings running into each other here.

Echoes Wild - Echoes Wild is a large stretch of dense forest with a few springs and ponds nestled in the wildlife-infested trees. This area is remote and peaceful, but also harder to find civilization in, and many who enter seem to find themselves lost or unable to flee the forest's clutches. Echoes Wild is located to the east of Airedale.

Argos - Argos is a cluster of shoddy, dilapidated buildings in a seemingly war ravaged area where plant life is scarce, but has plenty of space to move around and areas to sleep in if needed. If you move farther from the center of Argos you'll find some abandoned factories and farms, with the occasional animal or two. Argos is on the tail end of Airedale and trickles into the west.
