cursed (verb) - to invoke or use a curse against, to be afflicted with.

all wolves are named after songs. 

the leader of the pack is named songsinger. the songsinger has seemingly otherwordly powers, able to manipulate noise to their liking.

songsingers are usually worshipped as gods. 

the day songsingers are allowed to retire, they must. no exceptions.

songsingers' burial is a very carefully planned ritual. only the highest ranking wolves are allowed to be near the body. the pack is required to attend.

on songsinger's burial, their mate, if not dead already, has a choice to either die or continue their legacy. if they choose to continue, their heir goes back to their normal duties until their predecessor dies.

my ordinary life is on her last day of pregnancy, bred to cosmic blueberry. i doubt she'll have any selene babies, but the scries say they'll be pretty anyway
