How's Your Hunting Adventures?

Ugh I reached 100% synergy with my lead hunting team and I'm only getting 34% for Critter trails. I know I'm in the desert, which is a much more difficult area, but I feel like your wolve's stats should possibly affect that or at least lower the difficulty. Small prey is only 9% and I haven't seen any Medium or Large prey trails. 

I'm in D.Forest and its horrible.  I feel like I'm being punished for having a large pack. I have three hunting packs and I'm lucky if I'm catching 5 a Day ! Not big ones either. One day is decent and the next day is horrible. Can't blame it on winter either because it was going on before then.

Update: So my 100% synergy team gets 34% critter trails & 9% small trails for winter. 

They're now getting 65% critter trails, 39% large trails, and 31% medium trails for spring! This is a relief. I'll have to start cataloging the other seasonal changes.
