Notice Regarding Public Release

Public Release Delay

Unfortunately, due to some nasty bugs that have recently popped up, we've made the hard decision to delay public release for the time being.  As much as we wanted to launch Wolvden to the public on 9th October, we felt that it was best to delay release in order to give us more time to focus on patching up these bugs—releasing the game in its current state would potentially cause further issues unless the underlying problems are fixed.

Please know that we are hard at work to figure out the cause of these issues, and we hope to get right back on track as soon as possible!  We know that many of you are waiting for friends and family to join once public release is fully up, so we hope that it won't take too long. ♥ Thank you all for being so understanding with the issues that have cropped up thus far.  Your bug reports and tickets help immensely.

This is, of course, very sad news... but we'd like to lighten up the mood by releasing a list of everything that has been tweaked, fixed, and added in since we launched Early Access on 25th September!



Major Change

* Early Access is open! 
* Wolves can now be chased or sold after 2 hours of entering the pack, instead of one rollover.



Major Addition

* Tala's Archive has been added to the Help section of the game. This lists all of the quest steps of the quests you've completed, for reference.



Minor Change

* Thoughtless personality has been renamed to Scatterbrained. 
* New, easier combo selects for selling to Raccoon Wares to sell multiple items or stacks at once. 
* Friends list now ordered by name instead of ID. 
* Tweaked the personality breeding rates - 90% chance of a puppy to be born with a personality out of its parents group, 10% chance for a fully random personality.



Minor Addition

* Marking Applicator is finished and added to the game. 
* Marking Opacity Changer is finished and added to the game. 
* Base Changer is finished and added to the game. 
* Eyes Changer is finished and added to the game. 
* Nose Changer is finished and added to the game. 
* Skin Changer is finished and added to the game. 
* Claw Changer is finished and added to the game. 
* Admins can now be more easily identified on their den pages, profile pages and on the Members Online list. 
* You can now click on your wolves' images to regenerate them if their stages are not showing properly. 
* Mutations can now be searched in Crossroads and the Trading Center. 
* Mutations now display in the wardrobe! 
* Added notifications about breeding male cooldowns where applicable on the retirement page, removing a breeding male and setting a new one.

I'm glad you've decided to delay the release instead of going through with it anyway. it saves everyone a whole lot of frustration!

It's a shame the public release has to be delayed, but if it has to be done, well, it has to be done. Thank you for your hard work so far, I hope the situation can be resolved soon and without further issues!

It's better to delay the release and fix whaever needs to be fixed. You're doing good job devs! 

It must have been a tough decision but definitelyy the right choice! I hope you can resolve it quickly.

Sad that's it delayed, but it's for sure a good thing to do! Wouldn't wanna cause more problems.
