The mountains carry a sadness to them. Wind howls in the vacancies of space, wind gusts push even the most sure-footed against the mountain's face. To call this place home is to look death in eye each morning and refuse to back down. The wolves that call this home do at the mountain's roots. Venturing higher up only to celebrate the new life to the pack, mourn the loss of it, or in desperate times to find food.
