Mystical Beasts
Welcome and thanks for looking at the Mystical Beasts Clan Board!

Mystical Beasts is a clan focused on our love for breeding unnatural coat colours, marking combinations, and of course mutations. We want to foster an environment where members can communicate, breed with, and work with each other to create the most unnatural wolves possible. We do want to be completely inclusive though. Some people might only have natural-looking wolves but still enjoy and admire the more unusual looking sort and that is perfectly ok! In Mystical Beasts, there is no joining requirements, because here was just want to admire all the strange looking wolves of wolvden.

What are the Benefits of Joining?
Looking for an active group with tons of group activities to do? Look no further than here! There are going to be plenty of contests, raffles, giveaways, and community games planned for the future. Contests included things such as the most beautiful wolf, ugliest wolf, 'breed in the unnatural', and many more. Raffles and giveaways can include SC, GC, decorations, and even wolves! Some community games lined up are trick-or-treated for Halloween, Secret Santa, and even April Fools Pranks! Additionally, we have a discord! click here to join! 

But not interested in that aspect? That's totally ok, as we also offer many other benefits to members such as a stud and sales advertising thread, as well as members being allowed to offer discounts on such items. Additionally a member shout-out posts details any member raffles, posts (that are not sales or studs), and literally anything you might want the wider community to know.

What Counts as Unnatural?

While you do not have to have any unnatural-looking wolves to join, only unnatural wolves can be placed upon the stud and sales advertisement thread. Additionally only these wolves can participate in beauty contests (with a slight exception of the breed in the unnatural contest). The easiest way to tell if your wolf counts is by coat colour. Click here to see a list of bases that count as unnatural. What if you don't have an unnatural base coat, can your wolf still count? This answer is yes! Markings and mutations do count in an unnatural looking wolf. If you have a wolf with what we consider a 'natural base' with markings that make it look like nothing you would ever see in the wild feel free to still submit it. The wolf will be reviewed and if accepted used. On that note "dog-like markings" do not automatically count as unnatural. This is in an attempt to stop most of the wolves looking like wolf-dog hybrids. Dog-like markings will count however if used in such a way that it doesn't look like a dog. HTML by Lila #225.=

Stud & Sales Post Rules

Want to list a wolf for sale or stud?

Have a wolf you want to list for stud or sale? Look no further. Mystical Beasts has a sale and studs posts for wolves in the respective boards on wolvden! These offer an additional place where your wolves can be seen by the masses. Additionally, if you want to offer member discounts (you don't have too) this offers a great avenue to do it. 

How can I get my wolf/wolves on the list?
You can either post below or send a message to Rum with a link to the wolf/wolves you want to put up for sale of stud. These wolves will be evaluated to see if they look unnatural or not. If they are they will be added to the thread no questions asked, meaning you won't get a reply from me saying you have been. Do hold me accountable though! If you don't see your wolf listed, send me a message and it will become my first priority. Have any specific traits you want to be highlighted on your wolf, like colours, markings, stats etc please state that in your post/message so what you want to be highlighted can be. If you do receive a PM from me that means your wolf has been rejected. We will always give you a reason for this rejection, and it also allows you to appeal. If your wolf was rejected but you think it's unnatural let me know with a reason why. If you have a valid reason the wolf will be added.

What About Litters?
Litters are a special exception in the rules. You can breed two unnatural wolves together and end up with some pups that look unnatural and others that look like you saw them on Animal Planet. With that in mind, litters can be listed, even if not all the pups look unnatural if at least half the pups look unnatural. That means if you have a littler of 2 pups, then at least 1 has to be unnatural. For odd numbers, however (like 3 and 5) the majority of the pups have to be unnatural. So for three pups, 2  have to look unnatural, and for 5 pups 3 have to look unnatural.
