Custom decor issue ( needing help for improvement) T.T

Hello,

I had been working this decor for over two weeks now & I feel like I’m struggling with making it. 

This decor has gotten rejected before. The first rejection was from how pixelated it was, I understand quickly of what the wolvden team wanted me to fix then improved it but however the second rejection made me feel like I’m trying to solve a riddle.

so this is where I am Indeed of help on with this second rejection,

so basically I had been trying to read what they want me to improve on which is where I do have somewhat of criticism with.

1: telling me what I need to improve on something but suddenly recommending me just brushes that I can’t download. ( I completely made this decor from ibisPaint & used my finger alone without pencil )

I wished that they would also or instead include recommend tutorials of how to draw fur & patterns on fur. (which I had to try manually dig up tutorials myself)

2: I would recommend on possibly show the picture/s of the decor & possibly draw out where the errors would be at to have a clear way of knowing where or how it should be improve. 

3: they do show clear bullet points of what you need to improve but sometimes the way they describe them confuse me a bit into a loop of figuring out on my own so I kept double checking & trying to figure out what they are trying to say to me without messing up. 

4: I’m not sure of who is in charge of approving decors or how their coding operates so it makes it hard to contact them on how to describe their description on what they want you to achieve of improving & only leaves you with this bit to figure out alone. It can become frustrating for those who could understand things more visually & they did said in their rules you can use any art tool so only having resources for a couple art sites makes it more difficult for what they try to explain understandable.

Mosty I created this decor because I wanted to make this for my wolf & try challenging myself with something I never done before, which is making my own decor for the first time. 

I feel like I need to let other people know if they tried making a decor themselves that they need to be careful of what kind of rabbit hole they go into because this one that I made had lead me into a complicated progress. Mostly I wanted to created this decor for my wolf Crescent but I went over board with more stages that dragged on the progress then it should be. -.-\

I hope that this decor would be given a chance to be approved someday & that this had taught anyone what to be aware of when starting your own decor.

That is a really good start, it looks amazing!

I do see what they mean, though, and unfortunately I don't know if you'll be able to achieve the fine lineart/shading they want without using a pen (preferably with pressure sensitivity).

I desperately need to go to bed right now but tomorrow I can try to help more if you'd like! Maybe I can try to draw up a version for you that might pass the test? :)

I might try to dig up tools from ibis & replicate as close as I can to what they are looking for but also that would be great that you would draw a version as well of it if you want :)

Now, I can't guarantee that this would get approved (fur is my greatest weakness), but I did try to imitate the game's art style while trying to stay true to your design. You're free to use it and modify if you like, just add "collab with #37423" in the description if you do. <3

I love it!! It looks pretty neat to what I was trying to go for.  :D 

I do agree that trying to draw fur was pretty difficult like I didn’t realize that til my first reject of having to restart all over for the 2.0 one. :/ 

I do still have the other remaining 4 stages of this decor that you may see in the doc but I don’t want to over pressure you into doing all of them, like I still need to practice trying to draw fur like this & possibly use this collab as a ref. 

However if you do attempt to do the other 4 do you want me to owe you anything in return? 

I'd love to work on the others as well, the practice will be good for me. I wouldn't ask anything in return for any of this, no worries. :)
