For all us anxious people

Posted 2021-03-04 12:27:05

@Doodledog : That's very nice. If it's too hard for you, there are some phone numbers you can call/redirect to help also !

@Astridzx : I don't know what level you are but I might be able to help too. You need to keep in mind that it's alright not to succeed ! You'll be alright, I swear. Many, many people have been like you and they've ended up well in life, it's really hard right now but life can be surprising. And if you're not good at math, well, you won't be the first, nor the last ! Also, it could be the teacher who can't explain, or just both of you who can't really get along.

Sorry if my english is all over the place, I'm not a native speaker. Stay safe <3

Doodledog That's a very good thing. Do you know if he's able to seek help from a professionnal ? I know for you american it can be VERY expensive and such, but it's often the best way to heal and get better (if you find a good one ...)

Y'all, try not to worry too much about grades. It might sound slightly hypocritical from someone like me, who is currently struggling with grades even in college, but it is more important to focus on your own health. Currently talking about dropping out for a semester because I have no motivation or energy/focus to be able to do homework and even interact with people outside of class.

@~ Kana the Mod-Simp ~ I totally agree, mental health is more important than good grades. School is stressful and sometimes you just need a break and that's okay, as long as your are taking care of yourself ❤

So I came home from college to try and recover my mental health a bit. It's not even been a week, yet my mother is already on about chemical imbalances and how I may have been misdiagnosed with anxiety and depression. As if I haven't been in this down spiral for more than four years now despite working out, taking medication, trying therapy and counseling(which only exacerbated things), and taking supplements precisely for those "chemical imbalances".

HRFLRFdsgkj.

I'm came home to calm down and get sleep, not get badgered into a corner.

That was my little rant. Love y'all.
