Breeding observations

I’m going to make this forum in conjunction with hunnybee’s forum found here, https://www.wolvden.com/chatter/topic/203. I’m going to make an excel sheet for everything, it will be a work in progress for a while as I need to learn about excel some more but it should have all the tools we need to set it up. 

I’ll need help from EVERYONE. Be it just giving info you get from your breedings or helping with the excel sheet itself. I’m making the excel sheet later today and I’ll update when it’s created. I’ll put the link here so that everyone can see it. IF YOU WANT TO HELP WITH THE EXCEL DM ME AND ILL LET YOU KNOW WHAT I NEED IN TERMS OF HELP.

I just started doing something like this this morning, myself! I'm currently researching dynamic cell queries so that people can select the desired base from a list and immediately see all of its info, including what other bases factor into it. If you already know how to do that pls ignore me haha, but if you don't, I can pass the info along as soon as I figure it out! 

Either way, I'm totally down to help with getting the sheet set up and keeping it up to date. 

That sounds amazing actually, I could really use the help. I think I’m going to use Google sheets instead of excel because it’s easier to share that way but once it’s made I’ll send you a Dm about it. I’ll do some research into it too because that sounds like a really smart idea.

Yeah, Google Sheets is great and it's definitely a lot easier to share. It'll be easier to give specific people access to edit as well! 

Looks like the most efficient way to set it up will be to have a Data tab that holds all of the actual data, and then the tab where people will actually do their searching. Do you have Discord by any chance? May be easier to chat directly there. I'm cool with DMs too though!

I really like the lay out of that, we didn’t get that far yet because I’ve been out of power but I thing going off of yours would be easiest at this point

damn, I just love how resourceful Wolvden players are. I cannot wait to get to use this :)

A suggestion from me would be to add in parenthesis if the base is Tier II (mostly because its still new and I keep forgetting whicih rarity they are but also because certain combos like Red I x Black I can produce Auburn II which cannot happen otherwise)
I think Tier I could say blank as the default bases.

And I am not sure how much info are in them already, but since we know that one Tier II base breed all the other II bases in the genetic category, those could automatically be added as well.

We will definitely take note of that, hopefully we can get a more filled up one soon enough
