gene appreciation thread

I understand most people are mad with the mutation scry price in the new update, but let's put that aside for a moment and appreciate our new NPC, Gene!

Gene is:

- a science bat. how cool is that? amazing, 100/10, I love him already

- he's so cute when he talks to you?? adorable and kind, love

- he's albino, so I believe he counts as our first disabled NPC?? if not it's still very cool representation 

- his design. He's so cute. A baby. I have so much love for him

He's so cute! Those enormous ears??? I am weak for big ears on little animals. The fact that you've always just woken him up? A mood. I love him. 

And I think the price is fair for what it's getting you. 100% knowledge if a wolf is a carrier or not, then giving you the ability to advertise that? I realize it's more than people were paying for the chance to figure it out through the scrying stone, but I think the added certainty and convenience (not needing to track down another mutation carrier, get ID numbers, etc.) makes it worth it. 

Oh my gosh, his text changes depending on what type of day it is! If it's daytime you have to wake him up, if it's night he's already awake and doing things. That is so cute, and such a neat detail!

I appreciate that I have 100% way of knowing if a wolf is a carrier, rather than scrying and hoping that why the scry showed was actually right.

Also gene is super adorable! Bats are amazing animals and I'm glad to see them getting some love.
