Lesbians Pack [Read-Only]

Please do not post. This thread is meant to be for my pack's lore, both in-character and out-of-character.

THE STORY BEGINS...

THE STORY SO FAR

• Sappho and Artemis chase off a male that tried to insert himself between them as a stud. Good riddance.
• The queens later befriend some friendly wolves named Mags and Goldenflower who agree to become scouts.
  
• Another wolf, Venus, tries to join Artemis's hunters but later decides she prefers pupsitting.
• By permission of the queens Venus takes responsibility of caring for a pup named Root. She still has quite a bit of time before she reaches adolescence.
  
• The pack befriends a new wolf. Lyca quickly takes Venus's place as a new huntress. Though she is aggressive at first, under Artemis's stern watch Lyca becomes a reliable huntress.
• The scouts scour nearby territories. Mags trains Goldenflower, who is a fast learner, and together the pair uncover the unique biomes that border the deciduous forest.
• As daily routines begin falling in place, a dedicated young wolf known as Chant unexpectedly comes to the aid of Lesbians in a time of sickness. Sappho and Artemis offer Chant to take up the role of pack herbalist. To the rest of the pack's delight she accepts.
  

THE STORY SO FAR

• Sappho explores the neighboring biomes. It seems there is still much to learn about their surroundings.
• On her journeys she meets several new faces but does not befriend any that stay with Lesbians for long. Queen Sappho does not even bother humoring the males.
  
• The pack takes in another pup. They call her Melon after her vivid pelt's color. Her name may change in the future, but for now the pup seems to like it.
  
• Root reaches adolescence at the age of six moons. Although it is summer, autumn does not tail far behind. The pack begins preparing early for the coming winter.
• Sappho and Artemis consult one another over a possible move. There is ample prey in the mountains and Sappho has met many other female wolves during her explorations, each one more interesting than the last. Some needy pups from nearby packs seem like promising additions. Lesbians officially decides to concentrate their efforts on expanding somewhere outside the deciduous forest.
  
• Every member of the pack works hard to gain experience in their designated roles. Root especially takes pride in acting like a big sister to Melon.
  

THE STORY SO FAR

• The pack takes in two new pups: Lilah and Cloudburst. Melon is happy to have new pups to play with since Root is so much older. Melon is no longer the youngest of the pack.
  
• The delicate fingers of autumn begin to brush against the landscape. Preparations for winter begin to ramp up as the air begins to take on a bite to it.
• Venus has her hands full protecting three rambunctious children. Cloudburst begins showing early signs of a potentially powerful hunter. She was the largest pup of her litter and it shows.
• A yet unnamed pup becomes part of the pack. With Sappho's permission Venus enlists the services of a temporary sitter.
  

THE STORY SO FAR

• Winter claws through the land. Prey is harder to come by, but the pack has prepared for this very moment.
• Sappho grows stronger by the day. She brings back tales of strange encounters and much needed supplies.
• Sickness spreads through Lesbian territory. Chant the herbalist is working overtime.
  
• The youngest Lesbians are no longer pups. It is their first time seeing snow, their first time seeing winter coats, their first season in which they truly long for spring. Though the girls are not old enough to take on major pack duties they watch the elder wolves with determined eyes.
• Sappho dismimises the temporary pupsitter.
  
• The pup with the denim coat is finally named. She will be known as Film from here on out.
• Venus, restless with no pups to sit, joins the hunting party. To be frank, she is awful at it. But she will improve.
• Hopefully.
  

THE STORY SO FAR

• A gorgeous unfamiliar wolf catches Sappho's eye. The female is reluctant to give her name, so Root suggests that the stranger chooses a new one.
• The new wolf seems to like this idea. In the meantime, she joins the huntresses as a much-needed chaser. Lyca is grateful for the lightened burden.
• Mags and Goldenflower bring news that two new biomes are now relatively safe enough for Sappho to explore for herself. The pair cautions their queen to avoid fighting the creatures encountered there as the animals lurking about seem to be even more savage than previously discovered places.
• The scouts aren't yet skilled enough to traverse what seems to be the final two regions. Never discouraged, Mags and Goldenflower train their senses by rescouting more familiar terrain.
  
• Winter winds continue to rage across the land.
  
  

THE STORY SO FAR

• The newest addition to the pack has chosen to call herself Valour after suggestions from other pack members. She fits in nicely with the current community, relieved to be among wolves like herself. Valour's hunting prowess is slowly but steadily improving.
  
• Lesbian wolves throw a party to celebrate the blue moon. Dinner features the surplus fresh carcasses Sappho has miraculously managed to drag home from exploration. It appeas winter will be ending soon.
  
• The pack's oldest pup, Root, has now officially reached adulthood. Her best friend Melon is just a couple of months from adulthood herself and gabs nonstop about all the things she will do when she's grown constantly.
