Chase Away Pups?

I am currently considering chasing away pups because they are not selling. Is this something that other players would also do? If so, what is your reasoning?

I ended up chasing one of my first pups, he had no markings at all so I didn't feel like he was worth keeping or selling... I think its pretty standard to chase unwanted wolves overall

If you really don't want to chase then maybe you could put them up for free or lower the price? 

I chase pups I don't think will sell because I figure no one wants my ugly potatoes and chasing them deletes them from the game and yeets them to potato afterlife. There's a ping pong table there, it's great, they love it.

Also I am just too dang lazy to bother trying to sell most of the time.

I think of it like actual breeding. I breed rats, and anything not worthy of being a pet is considered snake food. Likewise here, if the markings/stats aren't desireable, then they will be chased. I've chased a couple single Merle Pups myself so I didn't have to waste food/entertainment items and pupsitters on them.
