How many SC is one GC worth?

You kinda need SC for a lot of things here and you can only really get them through finding them, completing quests or selling items. I'm kinda new to the game so I don't have much that's worth anything tbh so I was thinking maybe I'd trade some GC for SC and was wondering what the general worth of GC was in SC. I feel like generally it's around 100SC = 1GC but I wanted to check in case I was underestimating. 

I don't have any GC atm so please don't set up any trades.

Currently, according to the trading center, 1 GC = 70 SC. :D
