WAR!

With the secret breaking out that witches and shifters have been living under their very noses for thousands of years, humans have launched a war on the ‘dangers’. Many were killed in massive street riots that became known as the “Day of Reckoning”, the day magicals and their few allies realized the only way to survive was to fight. The forces of the new United Magicals have managed to take some territory in the center of the United States stretching from Kansas to Texas. Despite many years of fierce fighting, it looks like the end of the Magicals is near. Except... a group of talented fighters including fighter pilots, infantry men, engineers, strategists, and more have been summoned to the Capital. What they do will determine the fate of the world forever.

It is currently around 30 years after the outbreak of the war. The Magical state was based off of the United States, including the military. Soldiers are essential to the survival of the state, so they use lots of propaganda and encourage people to enlist. I will make another page as a sort of timeline and will share some of the important battles and other information on there. The Magical state is in full war mode, committing almost all resources to keep the military running.



Rules!

1. You must be semi-literate to sign up! It’s fine to have short answers sometimes, but try and get descriptive! There’s so much you can play with, from the character fidgeting with something to their thoughts!

2. You can start with a three character limit. I might expand that depending on how many people join.

3. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE USE PROPER GRAMMAR AND PUNCTUATION. IT HURTS MY BRAIN WHEN SOMEONE DOESN’T. I wouldn’t judge you for using “me and someone’, “someone and I” is overrated.

4. BE NICE TO EVERYONE IN THE OOC. IF YOU ARE RUDE OR START AN ARGUMENT FOR NO REASON YOU WILL BE KICKED/YEETED.

5. This is PG-13, so some mild curses and gore. Please let us know if something triggers you so we can avoid that :)

6. THIS IS A SAFE GAY-BORHOOD, NO HOMOPHOBES OR OTHER MEANIES. ACE IS A SEXUALITY DA*N IT

7. All big boss characters will be played by me. If you want to make a senior commander please fly it by me, BUT DONT PESTER ME. I hold the right to veto your character because it might not line up with the plot I have planned or other reasons.

8. Like the actual military, your characters will wear uniforms when they are on the line of duty. This includes being deployed or going to briefings. I will specify if a uniform is needed or not and provide images if requested. Your character can wear casual clothing when they aren’t at work.

9. Have fun! There will be an OOC if people or interesting and prepare for memes and chaos :)

General Description: Naveah is 5' 10'', looks surprisingly strong, and has an air of mischief. Her hair is almost always a bit messy, and her clothes are often wrinkled. Always has a feather in her outfit somewhere, and never takes her necklace off. (it's from her mom)

What type of magic do they have?:
 Can create illusions, has telekinesis, and can make people instantly believe what she says.

Personality: A clever, sassy and playful girl who loves tricking people to get her way. She had trauma when she was younger, but is trying to move on. Some days gets super sensitive about things and very downcast.

Backstory: Her mother was one of those card dealers for a casino in Las Vegas, (she was also responsible for basically rigging the game to get the house more money) so for most of her early life, Nav was either waiting around in a small hotel room for her mother to get back for a couple hours before she had to go again, or at the table with her mother figuring out how to do card tricks (To this day she still has many decks of cards that are very important to her) and watching the players get angry at her mother. Her parents were divorced, and the couple times she visited her father (he died in a car crash 4 years ago) she found he hated her mother, and that made her sad.
As Nav grew older, she watched her mother get more and more depressed, until the only reason she seemed to still be living was the fact that she was allowed could go get drunk twice a week. Nav learned all about the dirty secrets of Vegas, and soon learned how to lie, cheat, trick and manipulate people. 
When she turned 19, she joined the army, hoping to get enough money that her mother wouldn't have to work more.

She would most likely be a part of the federal government like the magic version of the CIA or FBI, she would also technically be a special forces because she is a spy. 

The general description is just how she looks when people first see her, like her height and general look :)
