Hey everyone! I'm Wren :)

I've been working on a personal project where I am trying to breed all types of hetero-eyed wolves from low gen, normal-eyed parents, and as of yesterday, I got a Black & White pup!

This is the pup in question! I've been calling her Oriole. She was born with much better stats than my last hetero-eyed pup and was thinking she might make for a great stud when she's grown. Then I was tinkering around and realized she looked so cute as a fox... and now we're here!

02/03 update- I've now had this pup with higher stats who I think I will use as my stud! Her parents also both are from my pack, and her grandparents on both sides have less offspring, so it feels more appropriate and practical :) Her design will be tweaked slightly to account for markings but nothing major.

When the fox base was first announced, I was excited to save up for one. Over time I started doubting myself, and sold what I'd found. I love hetero-eyed wolves so much and thought it would be amazing to try and get some Tier III hetero-eyed wolves out there. So, here we are! I figured making this thread would encourage me to keep aiming for this goal :) If I could have a Mojave hetero-eyed pup someday that'd be my ultimate dream.

But enough about me, here is Oriole's planned design!

What I have so far:

  • Base Applicator [Fox] - 1/1- DONE!
  • Fox Pelt [Red] - 5/5 - DONE!
  • Fox Tail [Red] - 9/10
  • Fox Skull - 1/1 - DONE!
  • Canine Claw - 20/20 - DONE!
  • Canine Fang - 20/20 - DONE!

Details on the foxes I've gotten things for this project from:

  • Lead Level: 17 | Red - 18 - Tundra - 1x Fox Tail [Red] 
  • Lead Level: 17 | Red - 16 - Swamp - 1x Fox Tail [Red]

I think she would look amazing on a fox base and I'd be willing to throw in a canine fang (currently have) or other fox items I come across in the future for refunded breedings to her later or more ych tags bc they're so dang cute. 👀

Hiya! I have a black and white hetero eyed adolescent who I will be making my stud the next rollover!

 I’m also wanting to experiment with something similar. He is a Tier II, but if you’d like to try breeding with him in the future, I will gladly give refunded breedings to you!!

Your wolf will be super cute with a Fox base and I wish you all the luck! If I manage to get any trophies, I will send them your way as well to help you get her there. 🥰

But I also have big news! Oriole is officially FOX BASE yay! Now to fix up her markings and impatiently wait for her to grow up!
