Interest Check/Pricing Help

Hello! I'm Murky and I'll hopefully be opening a commissions thread with your help! I just need help with pricing since I have no clue how much art goes for on here :'D

To price anyone's art is tricky. I cannot give you an accurate estimate because I do not know the exact amount of effort you put into each piece. Some things to consider would be: are you using a template? If you're doing a YCH type drawing where you do not need to draw new lineart each time, I would knock a few points off on the price. Are you doing flat color or shading? I would charge more for each step you do: lineart, color, and shading. If you skip any of these steps, lower the price. Full-bodies would obviously cost more than headshots and so forth. It also depends on how long each type of artwork takes you. If it's something with more steps and more complex a design, I would charge more.

I think a good flat rate would be 3 GC for a headshot and maybe 10 GC for a full-body. Add to it or lower it as you see fit depending on the effort it requires of you. Say, something that takes 20 mins to finish would be cheaper than something that might take you 6 hours.
