Amaury yawned as the sun rose, it was chilly, the grass still frosted over the air was crisp, and the trees were changing colors. He walked out of the den, the frost beneath his paws felt cool. He did his morning routine before going out to scout. He walked the normal path, marking the territory as he walked along the trail. He watched a squirrel run up the tree from a distance, he kept walking forward until he reached a black rock, as he climbed on top of it it was warm despite the fall. He rolled over on it, before getting back up to countinue the patrol.

Amaury saw an elk herd ahead, and decided to give them a wide berth, the female elk watched Amaury cautiously the bold spikes wanted to impress the females, a spike ran up to Amaury, Amaury snarled as it came closer, he lounged at the spike, giving it a sharp nip on the nose, the spike jumped away back to the herd and Amaury kept walking along the path, periodically looking behind him to make sure they weren’t following him.

Cheetodust heard the sound of  a fight and ran the rest of the way to it.. all she saw was a lone male. "   having trouble catching that elk " she chuckled as she came into view. She stayed a few feet away still in case he pounced on her. 

Amaury stopped and looked at the female, he thought he saw her before... ah, yes that one time when Jay went to go see a Kassie wolf, this must be one of the females from there Pack. “Hello.” He nodded a greeting.
