Word Game for Writers

I've been playing this on tumblr and I think it's a lot of fun, so I decided to try a thread for it here! You just post a word, and the next person posts a sentence from whatever they're working on that contains that word, then gives a new word for the next person. 

Example: 

Person 1: Black

Person 2: It blinked at him with black eyes the size of silver dollars. New word: Dark.

And so on. 

I'll start with the word whisper.

Oooh, this sounds like an amazing game! Thank you very much for the opportunity! ♥

The forest is mostly quiet, its hushed voice barely louder than an eerie whisper as it looms in front of her, waiting.

New word: wicked.

A spirit of justice, of getting what’s coming to you, of punishing the wicked and rewarding the good… 

The snows and ice have been a part of the Glacierfang's life for four centurys. This immortal has known no fear, lack of any bodiemental sort or strong will. Living as if dead, dieng as if alive, the sycle never ends.

New word: Shifting.

The world was changing. Continents shifting and breaking, wars were what everyone lived in constant fear of. Hopefully some places remained untouched and free. That was the thing needed for life.

New word: extravagant 

Evan chattered on and on as they drove. Some of it was about the extravagant party they were about to attend. Some of it was about various pretty girls he’d struck out with lately. Some of it Hank only half listened to and promptly forgot about.

New Word: Confusion

An explosion from the West. 

A raging hurricane from the Iest.

An explicit fire from the North.

A loud earthquake from the South.

Confusion arose as the blazing comets filled the sky and the stars fell into the sea. What is happening?!

A shady being was whatching this chaos from the distant atmosphere of the planet: Unfolding a secret scroll brings power, but distruction is inevitable, iether from inside or the outside!"

Last player seems to have forgotten to leave a new starting word, so how about:

Purpose

She lost it all once.

Crown, name, purpose. 

But she found them all now, as she raised her sword, ignoring the begging of the false queen, her tears staining her shoes. She wrinkled her nose in disgust as she attempted to use her children as an excuse for mercy. Was she not an innocent child too, when the false queen kneeling before her ordered her family burnt?

She didn't show her any mercy. So she would not show her any. She swung her sword down, watching the blood pool form and grow, a mar against the marble floors. Or was it an exquisite decoration instead?

She picked up the false queen's crown, now hers, always hers, as she smiled a wicked thing. 

Crown, name, purpose.

She found them all now. 

And she was going to make those who stripped her of them pay with their blood.
