Custom Wolf Advice?

Custom Wolf Advice?

I'm assuming this belongs in this section but I don't really know so forgive me if it belongs elsewhere!

I finally managed to get enough for a custom wolf in the grove but I noticed you can customize a pre-existing wolf as well. So I'm wondering, do I...

1) Start a new wolf but I don't know what its base stats would be and have to work up

2) Customize one of my pre-existing wolves that already has about 455 stats

3) Buy a new wolf that has better skills than my own and the customize it

My purpose for this wolf would be making it a male, leveling it up and then using it for breeding and studding out since I want to improve my current pack and also make back some of what I'll have spent on him.

Anyway, what would you do or suggest?

38 GC is a decent chunk, so I'd either use the 455 stat wolf or buy one with even higher stats (which could get expensive, and if you care about inbreeding or having a high-generation wolf you'd have to look into their heritage as well). I have no idea what kind of stats a new custom wolf could have but I personally wouldn't roll the dice on that.

I already spent it on a new one a 3days ago since I was informed it may wipe the pre existing wolfs stats. Also couldn’t* find any helpful info in the forums :/ Oh well, guess I know for next time

customising a wolf via the grove doesn't wipe their stats. the only thing changed is the coat. personality, stats, experience, all stays the same

Not sure if this is of any help to your situation anymore but I just figured I'd pitch in :)

When creating a new customized wolf the base stats for everything will be 40, so the total would be an even 200.

If you customize a pre-existing wolf the stats stay the same.

Hope this helps!

I’ll definitely keep this in mind. I had plans to buy a 100sc 450ish stat lvl1 and go from there but I think I’ll save up and try again cause I do want a good wolf for breeding.

Thanks everyone! Hopefully this will help others out as well!
