The herbalist needs smarts and wisdom. I’d put N6 or N10 there.

Stalkers require the same as the herbalist, wisdom & smarts. I’d also put N6 or N10 here. Probably N6 but that’s because it has better stats in wisdom and smarts, and I prioritise hunting over herbalism. Do it how you want it though

Chasers need speed and agility. N1 definitely should be one. N7 too. I think the one with next highest stat is N6 and N10, so you could switch them out for this, otherwise the next one is N5

If you put N6 or N10 in a chaser role, you could put N4 in the herbalist/stalker role. Which could lead you to changing N3(Rhyme) for N5, since N5 has three higher stat points,

Finishers only need strength. So I’d say N3 (Sunrise)

I think the stats needed for scouts depends on biome.  That leaves N2, N3(Rhyme), N4N8, and N9. I’d say that N3(Rhyme) and N9 could be scouts, since they have the highest stats out of the wolves left.

I’m not good at distributing wolves over roles. Especially since some wolves can be in several roles. So you can change it however you want, I also wrote the stats needed so you can just check them too. I didn’t check their personalities, so check so they don’t clash in the hunting party. But hopefully, this could be a good role assignment?

I checked out their links so I could check their personalities too.

Venias (N1) - Friendly, definitely best suited to being a Chaser.

Basil (N2) - Friendly, pretty equal distribution of stats so he could do pretty much whatever you need him to.

Rhyme (N3) - Stoic, could make a good Finisher or Chaser.

Sunrise (N3-2) - Friendly, best suited to being a Finisher.

Pup E (N4) - Stoic,  best suited to being a Stalker or a Herbalist.

Zephyr (N5)  - Aggressive. Could be a good Chaser, Stalker, or Herbalist.

??? (N6) - Stoic, would make a good Stalker or Herbalist.

Unnamed (N7) - Friendly, definitely best suited to being a Chaser.

Kain (N8) - Romantic, could make a good Finisher, Stalker, or Herbalist.

Altum (N9) - Aggressive, would make a good Finisher.

And N10's link is broken, but it looks like that's Aphrodite - Friendly, could do any role pretty much equally well I think.

Eastwood broke down how they'd prioritize stats really well, I think. I'm not great at comparing the stats between wolves, I usually just look at what the specific wolf has the best stats for and let the rest sort itself out.

I'd start by figuring out your hunting team, since you have to consider their personalities (friendly fights with aggressive, stoic fights with romantic). If it were me I'd do them like this:

  • Stalker: Aphrodite or ??? would both work here.
  • Chaser 1: Venias
  • Chaser 2: Unnamed
  • Chaser 3: Rhyme
  • Finisher: Sunrise

I took Eastwood's analysis into account for the hunting team, only moving wolves around if their personalities didn't fit. Rhyme is Chaser 3 because the others who might be better statted for the role are aggressive, and would fight with some of the others. This would have your hunting team made up of stoic and friendly wolves.

So then your herbalist would be ??? or Aphrodite, whichever you didn't use as your stalker.

Any wolf can be a scout, as different biomes value different stats. However, the hardest biomes to scout are Glacier and Rainforest, which take 100 Wisdom and 100 Strength, respectively. So of the remaining wolves, I'd pick the ones who are already ahead in those areas, which I think would be Pup E (has the highest wisdom of those five) and Altum (has the highest strength).
