Strange Pack “Rules”

Strange Pack “Rules”

What are some of the weirdest “rules” in your pack? Mine is that wolves are assigned a role at 6 months and take over that role at 1 year, leaving the old wolves they’re replacing time to retire.

Before anyone say anything, yes, I’m new, and no, no wolves have graduated as yet.

I do almost the opposite! Pups become pupsitters once they become adults, and replacement hunters and herbalists are chosen from the best suited pupsitters. (Scouts are my breeding male and heir)

I also do my breedings by age - the oldest female who has not yet had puppies is the next to breed, regardless of the timing of anyone's heats. And to keep myself from completely drowning in pups only one female may be pregnant at a time. The only exceptions to both rules is my lead and wolves being used for breeding projects.

Cool! I just breed whoever’s in heat! The catch here is I only have on pupsitter, so if there’s more than ten pups then some will get neglected.

My lead/replacement lead must be a female NBW.

Females, if bred, have one litter near their last heat.

Can only keep 2 puppies from each litter max. The rest are chased.

No purchasing wolves with lineage or that have been bred by other users.

No selling wolves with lineage. Wolves that have been bred by me must be chased.

If a wolf is bred by me they must be kept in the dynasty.

I only breed when my oldest litter of pups reaches adulthood, and then I breed wolves in heat that day + sometimes the remaining days until the first one bred gives birth (but lately I've had so many in heat at once, so I just chose 3 of them last time lol. I missed a fourth one in heat because I've been so tired but I have my elk heart from the pair bond quest I will probably use early)

Also, my wolves can only be pair bonded with a wolf close to their age (1 and 1/2 years younger to 1 and 1/2 years older)...Just so I don't have to worry about one dying much earlier and the other one getting sad.
