Possible long term 1x1 mature rp partner

Hi, I haven't made a forum post in years. My name's Jasper, I use he/him pronouns and I'm over 18. I'm looking for an rp partner willing to use Discord to do relatively long roleplays. I have no general preference for what the roleplay is but I do prefer fandom based ones. I also would prefer if my rp partners are OVER 18, as I'm kinda a little uncomfortable with rping with minors. 

I've been rping for almost 9ish years, and I would appreciate a semi-lit or fully lit rp (Usually like 2 or more paragraphs). Either in present or past tense language, with focus on the details over dialogue. If any roleplays involves romance or anything of the like, MxM is my go to given my own preferences. But I am willing to do any combination of pairing types.

Hello.~ I too am a bit rusty when it comes to roleplays, but would love to get back into the swing of things! Feel free to call me either Alcarie or Skye. I'm 26 and go by she/her pronouns. I can say I'm not too familiar with Discord, though I have an account, but would like to learn since it seems that's the new favored platform. 

I'd rp'ed religiously for about eight years, then went to college and quit due to a lack of time/brainpower. Now that I'm free, older, and primed with new writing skills I'm really wanting to return to doing something I'd enjoyed. Semi-lit was my go to then, but since I've begun writing my own book (neverto be published) I've found I tend to prefer literate. At least 2+ detailed paragraphs typically. But I'm more than comfortable making my style fit whoever I'm writing with! 

In terms of plot, I'm not very picky at all. The only thing I'm not to keen on are 'slice-of-life' type plots. Fandoms are fine, and if I dont know one you'd like to do I'm happy to do some research. Harry Potter is about the only one I won't do. I have a real soft spot for historical/fantasy type of fandoms if your into any of those (Vikings, Witcher, Three Musketeers, ect.), as well as apocalyptic or action 'stuff' (Resident Evil, Underworld, ect.). I can do anime plots, but would have to do some research since I haven't actually watched any. 

And lastly, I think, if romance is involved I can do any combination of pairings. Typically MxM is my go to, but I'm comfortable with any. But no romance is perfectly fine too! I prefer fade to black if it becomes necessary, mostly because my ace self is squeamish about that kind of stuff. I don't have any triggers, though, and blood, gore, and death does not bother me at all!

I think I covered it all? Of course, if you'd rather not rp with me for any reason no hard feelings! I tend to ramble, I know, and have a slight learning curve when it comes to Discord.~ Whatever you choose, thanks anyhow! 

Hey Skye, thanks for answering. Honestly I didn't expect anybody to so fast. I can relate to life getting in the way. And I'm glad to hear you're getting into the swing of things again. Believe me when I say I remember roleplaying over Google Hangouts of all things; and though I do use Discord more often than not it's in RP Servers where there's a whole slew of people all at one time. If you ever have questions about it if we do start rping don't be afraid to ask.

I'm not particularly a fan of Harry Potter, well,,, I am. I'm a Slytherin myself. But I don't really rp for it anymore. I'm sure we can talk about fandoms later to see what we both know and what we don't I'm also down with non Fandom related ones as well. Oddly enough I'm also a huge fan of those types as well. Though I'm not well versed in some of the ones you listed. I've been really into Red Dead Redemption, and the Assassin's Creed franchise.

Also while I'm not necessarily squeamish about it, I do vibe with those Ace feels. I can sometimes do it but don't really understand it. I don't have a lot of hard No's when it comes to other aspects. Blood and gore I often excel at given my love of the horror genre. If you're willing, I could PM you my Discord info.
