Project Texas

My second starter wolf, Lappi, is not-so-subtly based on the Arknights character, Lappland. In Arknights, the world of Terra is populated by various humanoid races with animal or fantasy features. One of these races is the Lupo, a people with wolf-like features. So of course, once Wolvden launched, I knew I had to make some of my wolves based on these characters.

Most Lupo hail from the land of Siracusa (based on the real world Italy), a country strife with mafia conflict. Lappland is implied to be a former member of a mafia family in Siracusa.

I also considered making on of my starter wolves designed based on another Arknights character, Texas, but I wasn't really feeling any of the starter markings for her so I decided to leave her till later. Which is what this thread here is for!

Texas, like Lappland, is also implied to be involved with the Siracusan mafia. Unlike Lappland, Texas wants to leave her past behind. Lappland views this as a sign of weakness from Texas, and wishes to bring back the "old Texas" she knew during her mafia life.Edge wolf.

Basically what I'm looking for is:

• A monochrome dark base
• Red marks ideally with some white or gray markings to balance the design a bit
• Orange or amber eyes
• Stoic personality (leaning towards aloof)
  
• Female? (now that pair bonding has been added, I'm considering having her be a male wolf in-game so I can form a pair with Lappi)

But other than that I don't really have any specifics! I'm just going to keep breeding until I get a pup that makes me go "that's her!" The goal is to achieve this mostly through breeding rather than GC customization, but if a pup is exactly what I want other than something like eye color or personality, I'll probably pick it anyways and spare the GC.

My starting female for this project will be a wolf I bought from another player, Dione.

And in my bookmarks I've been collecting studs that have traits that I'm looking for:

• Fade
• Inti
• Merik
• Sanguine
  

I did my first breeding for this project recently, breeding Dione with Inti. She'll give birth tomorrow!

The first Dione/Inti litter was born!

Three pups were born, all female.

Mom's cream grizzle really came out with the pups, it's hardly visible on her at all. If I choose to breed her again, I'm probably going to get rid of that mark. 2 and 3 aren't really what I'm looking for, but 1 is promising! She has higher stats than the mom and is part of the stoic personality group, so I may choose to retire Dione from this project right now and let this pup be the next female I breed. But again, that cream grizzle has got to go.
