Show off your lore/bios!

Show off your lore/bios!

Hi folks! I’ve been trying to put my own pack’s lore into a cohesive story short enough to fit in my pack bio, and I thought it would be fun to let everyone else show off their fancy bios too! SO - show me your super cool pack lore! There doesn’t have to be fancy coding, just a little love and effort!

Can’t wait to see what the creatives of Wolvden have come up with!

I'm keeping it short and simple, but debating whether to create a thread to just write about the pack's progression because sometimes it's fun to just write. (But I am worried about neglecting it if work piles up.) So far I have my bio and every wolf with a book has a short history written down. I'm working on the others, just... slowly. It so happens that I am a very lazy creature.

Here’s mine ❤️

Needs some tweaking/ more lore and backstory but this is the initial !

In these woods red runs deep. It seeps into the soil;  it stains the trees. The warm scent of iron clings upon the lands almost screaming - beware.

If you’re unfortunate enough to cross into this curious wood, you might consider that the pang of iron is just a fresh kill. Or perhaps the warm liquid between your toes is just pee in comparison to the alternative you don’t want to consider. But regardless of what worries you first,  the true concern you’ll hardly notice before it’s too late. Most never make it back out of these lands to tell the tales but you’ll never forget their name - the Red Scourge.

It’s chanted by voices without faces - you’ll look to find it’s source but you’ll never see them. Instead the call will get louder and louder, “ the Red Scourge”. Sticks will crack under heavy foot and yet you still won’t catch a glimpse but you know you’re being watched. Every place you peer through the inky black wood you can feel the eyes but they’re never there.

Instead the chanting reaches a crescendo before only one voice remains - rich and deep while commandingly cold. “Congratulations- you’ve found us.” The group cackles at the joke. They know you can’t see them. “Tell me, do you seek death? Or have you come to ask us to bestow it upon another...” the voice boomed leaving the woods eerily still. You ponder the question but before you can even blink a giant among wolves stands before you, pelt blood red, stained in black and patched in white. His eyes the most piercing grey like a violent storm. “We only help the innocent - the ones who have been wronged. Those who seek our might for personal gain have come seeking their own  death. Which are you?”

Your head lowers to escape the gaze of the wolf before you, why did you come? But as you muster the courage to reply you come to realize he’s gone. “You have been judged by the Red Scourge and have been found innocent.. for now.” The voice called, now almost but a whisper as distance seemed to grow between you. “You have been found blameless once, but should you enter our lands again without a purpose, death will be your reward.”

It was then that you realized you were suddenly back on the edge of the wood, peering in as you had with the faint pang of iron upon your nose. Crimson hues dancing in the darkness between small rays of light. Unsure as to how you returned to the edge of the woods you stand conflicted as you hear the soft chanting take place once more - “the Red Scourge.”
