Title says it all! What are some good books and/or series to get into? Any genre, any length. |

Some of my favorite books are Graceling, The Foxes of Firstdark, and Whitefang! Graceling is a fantasy novel, The Foxes of Firstdark is about the life of a fox, and I think most people know Whitefang but it's about the life of a wolfdog.
A Dog's Purpose and A Dog's Journey are also excellent - they have movie adaptations but I haven't watched them. |

@Jay I read A Dog’s Purpose and loved it! Never saw the movie, but that’s okay. Movies never hold a candle to the books anyway. I definitely want to check out The Foxes of Firstdark. Speaking of foxes, have you heard of the Foxcraft series? I started reading it but I can’t continue until I bring the rest of my stuff up to my new home. Oof @Jackie Always love a book that makes me feel some type of way, especially if it involves animals. <3 I’m going to see if I can find that one in my local bookstore. |

I really love anything by Rainbow Rowell and she writes for a few different genres, Markus Zusak is another favorite, especially I Am the Messanger! I just finished Circe by Madeline Miller and loved it. Fountains of Silence by Rutys Sepetys and Glittering Hour by Iona Grey are two great historical novels with some romance thrown in, and The Night Circus is a really interesting fantasy novel! :) |

Seconding Good Omens - I love that book to bits, though I think for once that the TV adaptation was even better. It might just be that I'm extremely partial to Aziraphale and Crowley's relationship, and the adaptation focused on that. I own the first book of Foxcraft! I've been meaning to get the second but I always forget. I recommend Wings of Fire if you like dragons. it's written for a younger audience, but it's honestly really good. I also recommend the Underland Chronicles, which is about a teenager falling into an underground world full of human-sized rats, cockroaches, and things like that. I just really like books with teenage heroes that explore realistic consequences for their adventures, and the main character Gregor actually suffers through PTSD. |
