Z was out in  the hunting grounds for hours, but he finally came back with the biggest elk he ever caught " Ok everyone..  eat up because the winter is going to be rough this season . That goes for..." he looked around for Ad but she was no where to be around " hmm..."

The healer stood over Ad, their face twisted in concern. Things weren’t looking good. They knew Adelite would be upset, but they went to get Z. “Z, you need to come with me.”

They laid like that far into the night, Adelite breathing heavily. She winced in pain and the healer stepped in. "You need to wait outside now," they commanded Z.
