Animal Crossing Fans !

See, all these people talking about going for a distinct theme and getting stressed by it and restarting or at least tearing everything down. That's exactly why I never have solid themes. 

Hm I just feel like having a theme is more inspiring to me ! If I have a clear idea of what I want I find more motivation to decorate and design my island. But it's just my opinion. I also liked going with the flow in the beginning but I never truly liked my island, thinking it was too ' messy '. Honestly, If Nintendo had allowed us to have one island per account on a Switch, I'd never have to tear everything down and restart again haha

My theme is is loosely forest based. More specifically the Pacific Northwest. Lots of cedar trees. I want to add more scenery, but I don’t have the time currently as I’m in the middle of moving to another state. :<

 Aaaaah I love forest scenery ! I used to have that on my previous island ! I like it a lot. Especially in the morning ( very early ) when you can see the fog. That's my favourite weather in game.

There's always an Animal Crossing thread. I've been aying since City Folk, but currently have New Leaf, which I just restarted after abandoning it for over a year, and New Horizons, which I restarted on the second. I was fortunate enough that the Nooklings had a wetsuit Day One of real time, so I've basically been speedrunning the start of it. 

I've got half the dive creatures already I think, and already paid off the 5k miles and 98k bells for my home. At the moment, I'm trying to get 500k bells, much to the dismay of the sea life and Nooklings, who at this point could open a seafood buffet.

Island theme-wise, I think I'm going to aim for an Autumnal Cottagecore, with a main focus on foxes, seeing ad I already made a fox hoodie, multiple fox patterns for the walls, and a cute fox-eared hat. (Pictures to come)

 Your idea sounds super cool ! I can't wait to see some pictures. I really like the autumnal island and it's my favourite season so... :D

My boyfriend has Wild World and New Leaf on his 3ds and we're working on getting City Folk for the Wii. I'm planning on surprising him with it for Easter if I can haha.

I love Animal Crossing games, however I didn't get into the franchise until late 2019/early 2020. Now I'm obsessed and well-acquainted with all the games, lol.

My favorite villager of all time is probably a tie between Molly, Francine and Cookie. I'm lucky enough to have Cookie on my island<3 As well as Tia, Julian, Lucky, Sherb, Merengue and Marina! All without using Amiibo cards ;)

*Gasp* My people! Anywho my thoughts on the game are that it's fun not very fast pacing and I love to hoard items. But  I miss Brewster, my coffee buddy. As a kid I grew up with new leaf then I lost my game in my room and three years later I tricked my mom into buying a new one but two months into the new game I found the old one I almost started to cry. And now five years later here I am playing my horizons save file. And when I was younger I got a Lottie amiibo and made a "small" shrine to her. The new shrine will still be in my house. But as Lottie is the god of a small town called Farry. The island of Moondew has a new god the old god Lottie is forever in our history but Mushy is our new one. Mushy is the super mushroom item he is a god. 

 The theme for my island is forestcore it is still a work in progress.

 Aww I loved New Leaf as well. I spent hours and days on this game. I agree that Brewster is very missed in New Horizons... Just like gyroids. I truly hope that with E3 coming very soon we'll have some news for the game. And maybe a big update. 

 I've got to say that your Animal Crossing Lore is so cute and funny haha. I can imagine why Lottie would be worshipped. Truly a goddess walking among us.

 I'm currently redoing my island ( again..... ). I have one that is heavily farmcore / springcore and the other is jungle core / tropical core.

I don't have a certain Aesthetic in mind...I just want a flowery/modern vibe. Rn I cleared out most of my island and I'm trying to build a neighborhood for my villagers : ). I play ACNH and have been since last year.
