Frustrating Pet Sim Games!

Frustrating Pet Sim Games!

So I was looking into a dog SIM. Found Dog Dayzz. I previously had a Furry Paws account, but I ended up hating it due to how outdated it was. Dog Dayzz looked much more modern while still having those extra features I was looking for that even this game lacked.

So I make an account, adopt a doggo, and I can't figure anything out! I was given no tutorial, and the help files don't work! All I'm trying to do is unequip a toy that the dog didn't like. I tried discarding it hoping it would unequip by itself. Searching all the little tabs on his profile looking for a way to get rid of it. Looking in my inventory. All over and I can't for the life of me figure it out at all!

THEN on top of that, I missed one, ONE answer on the forum quiz due to so many trick questions, and now I can't even go onto the forums to ask for help for 24 hours! Like what's the point?!

I hear so much about this game, but why is it so not user-friendly at all? How can the game expect a constant user base when there was no tutorial and their help section is broken? I ended up just giving up on it out of frustration.

Have any of you guys experienced a really frustrating or buggy pet SIM? Whether that be Dog Dayzz or others?

I’m currently trying to figure out how to work Alacrity, which is a dog training/breeding sim. It’s pretty frustrating that you can’t pick a starter dog immediately; you have to either bid on one in an auction (which can take a few hours), buy from another player, or wait until something shows up in the pound. At least one or two customizable freebies like Wolvden allows would be nice.

I have nightmares from playing FelisFire. If you thought this game's hunting success rates were frustrating, you should know the horror of having to hunt in FelisFire. At level 0, which you start at, mice will beat the shit out of you. Songbirds will beat the shit out of you. You're more likely to encounter a giant snake monster than any sort of attemptable prey. The only thing your cats can successfully win against is the housefly, which shows up very rarely. This, when defeated, will give you an astounding 1 meat which you can then share with your legion of hungry cats. Have fun trying to level up!

Remember that every time you lose against a mouse or any other creature 10 grams and above, you have a chance of getting a disease!

No penalty for starving your cats, though, except some serious guilt-tripping, where they get existentially morbid and tell you they wish they were dead so they wouldn't have to feel the intense hunger they feel.

Alacrity was such a backwards butt site. Was not user friendly and quite honestly I lost the interest in it after struggling to get my first dog.
