~Name: Leopardstride

~Gender: Tom (he/him)

~Age: 28 moons

~Clan: SummerClan

~Rank: Rover

~Orientation: Biromantic Asexual

~Physical Description: Leopardstride is not the typical Rover- he is somewhat taller than the stereotype, likely because of his kittypet roots. Nonetheless he is a lean character, meant to take inaudible steps and take off at incredible speed in the rare instance that he's caught. No doubt the tom is quite handsome, although not in a typical sense. He is a slender cat, coming with a narrow face and high cheek bones. He is not the typical charming, thickly-muscled cat with a large jaw, powerful shoulders, and what have you. Perhaps what stops hearts is Leopardstride's large, angled almond-shaped eyes that are most alluring. He wears a unique silvered coat with paler unders, mottled with coal-black rosettes thanks to his kittypet ancestry.

~Personality Traits

+: Moralistic, charismatic, courteous

/: Deceptive, stubborn, driven, confidential

-: Difficult, unpredictable, disobedient

Leopardstride does his job well: he is charismatic and driven in getting the task at hand accomplished. However, he is a cat with his own agenda: he doesn't blindly follow his leader, he follows his heart. He has heavy doubts in the code despite his strong faith in StarClan, and seems more "loner" than he does "clan cat". Although he seems to blatantly disregard the code, Leopardstride has a strong set of morals. He is quite courteous and kind to just about all cats he comes across, but also tight-lipped and outright stubborn. As a Rover, he will not give up information. That being said, the tom is capable of talking himself out of just about anything, and really should not be trusted if you're from another clan or pose a threat to him.

~Backstory: Leopardstride had a relatively typical life growing up in SummerClan, outside of his obvious kittypet roots. His father was the son of two kittypets who had run off together to join the clan, while his mother had been born out of an honorable line of SummerClan warriors. When compared to his littermates, however, Leopardstride wasn't...typical. He was a little more insubordinate and always seemed to have clashing opinions, perhaps intentionally so. Because of his sharp mind and light-footed build, he was chosen to become a Rover.

The tom found pride in his duty, and seemed to grow more detached from his clan and family. Instead, he is much more keen on learning about the other clans, and enjoying whatever time he can get away from camp.

~Name: Dapplefrost

~Age: 13 moons

~Gender: She-cat (she/her)

~Clan: AutumnClan

~Rank: Healer

~Orientation: Uncertain; still young (would be determined in RP)

~Physical Description: Dapplefrost is small- granted, she's awfully young for a healer, and still upholds that kit-like aura. Her beautiful coat is her namesake- a dilute tortoiseshell, mottled with lavender-blue hues and creams. She is without any white spotting, and it can be noted that her coat is primarily blues, with the occasional freckle of cream. Dapplefrost seems to be permanently stuck with that "kit-like" air due to her pair of round, pleading hazel eyes, and her ears which are a tad too big for her head. Being that she is a healer and spends most of her time out and about scavenging for herbs, Dapplefrost is lean-built and has minimal muscle. She wouldn't do well in a fight at all.

~Personality Traits

+: Intelligent, patient, gentle

/: Stubborn, political, quiet

-: Sensitive, paranoid, dependent

Due to her size, rank, and horribly young age, Dapplefrost is outright dependent on her clanmates. It isn't something that she's particularly fond of, but there isn't much she can do about it. Being that she's new to the job and still learning on the fly, she's rightfully paranoid about ensuring that she gets everything correct. Dapplefrost has a more or less quiet and gentle disposition, so she's not prone to frequently voicing her worries until they build up beyond her control. While she may not always admit it, the healer is very sensitive to what others say about her as well. Nonetheless, she's highly intelligent and patient with whatever cat ends up stuck in her den to be healed. She's particularly talented at dealing with elders, considering that she has a tendency to be just (if not more) stubborn. That being said, when it comes to a debate, young and silent Dapplefrost can be quiet surprising. She never hesitates to correct her leader if she finds him in the wrong.

~Backstory: Dapplekit had been born into AutumnClan alongside her brother, Newtkit. Both kittens were small, but her brother was particularly sickly. Unfortunately, she did not get to know the tortoiseshell tom for long before he died from complications that also caused his unusual coat color for a tomkit (random mutations outside of XXY). Fortunately, Dapplekit seemed to be ok outside from her small size. However, after the death of her brother, she certainly grew into a very reserved kitten.

With the previous healer only growing older and older, Dapplekit was chosen as his successor. She trained hard while she was with him, but old age had quickly caught up to the tom. When Dapplepaw reached twelve moons of age, her predecessor suddenly passed away in his sleep. She was then urged to get her full name from StarClan, which she successfully did. Dapplefrost has been without her mentor for a moon now, and is still learning (dangerously) through trial and error.

"Might makes right"

~Name~
Mountaingale

~Age~
36 moons

~Clan~
Winterclan

~Rank~
Shikari

~Physical Description~

Enormous dark brown tom with long hair and stripy pelt. Under his pelt, the tom is of stocky build, but not because he has eaten a few too many mice. His eyes are light green that tends to be narrowed in a piercing gaze. The dark stripes ornamenting his face, paws, and tail are the most definite ones. Due to his long fur for the rest of his body, it is sometimes hard to tell where one stipe ends and another begins. The pigment of his nose and paw pads are dull pinks. The bottom of his jaw and some parts under his belly and tail have some with a tint to them, but not much to be noticeable. Otherwise, his pelt is colored with greyish browns of various shades topped with many dark stripes. His tail is long and bushy. Easily sweeping leaves here and there when walking a dedicated gate. He might not be as fast as his lighter counterparts or as agile as cats smaller than he tends to be, but for that, he makes up with his size and might. He isn't afraid to throw his weight around when he feels it to be needed.

~Personality Traits~

+: Loyal, patient

/: Coolheaded, patriotic, faithful

-: Brutal, unapologetic

Mountaingale is as loyal to Winterclan as loyal comes. He has never in his life even dared to question living outside his clan home and feels like everyone around him should feel the same. Because of his deep loyalty to the clan, he is by default loyal to all of its members as well. He might not always see eye to eye with everyone, but rest assured he will always have the back of his clanmates. Unless they one way or another find their actions risking the safety of the clan. Some could also find him patriotic with the way he tends to speak so highly of his clan and how starclan is on their side.

Mountaingale's faith is as strong as the giant monuments he is named after. There is nothing, living or not, that could sway his faith against starclan. Not even reason. He likes to believe that starclan watches over their every step. Good or bad. The bad side to this comes in times when his faith blinds him. Especially in times of crisis where he foolishly believes that it's starclan's way to punish the clan for wrongdoing as a whole or because of an individual. On the flip side. If the tragedy befalls another clan he would most likely take that as a sign that winterclan has starclans favor. Good excuse when taking advantage of another clan's blight.

Though the enormous tom is known for his fierce nature on the battlefield his overall nature reflects the opposite. Generally, he appears as a coolheaded and collected cat. His eyes rarely letting out the true extent of his emotions. He tends to be patient when it comes to other cats and their fool's errands. At least most of the time. Make no mistake though. When his claws come out it's already far too late to back down from a fight. So get ready. For he is not one known to go easy on anyone. Be it with words or claws and teeth.

When in dire times when morale is low Mountainglade cannot help, but to open his mouth to speak words of support in a somewhat dramatic fashion. Some might find his words inspiring. Others a waste of air better left unsaid.

What he is known best for are the tales of him on the battlefield and certainly the tales of his brutality when part of one. Mountainglade is not one to take prisoners or even pleas of mercy amid clashing claws. He would much rather kill a cat as an example to its companions than to let them go. This arguably goes against the clan code, but with enough mental gymnastics, anything can be excused when you are the sinner.

Some bad words can be said of this tom's tendency to be unapologetic. Even annoyingly so. In his mind, every action and deed he takes is for the betterment of the clan. Even if the actions themselves could be called up as questionable.

~Backstory~

Mountaingale (then Mountainkit) was born to two senior warriors, Thinfrost and Fallensnow. Even though his coming had been a surprise to both they were thrilled to finally have a kit between them. You see. Before Thinfrost and Fallensnow had come to become a couple Fallensnow had been a mate to a molly named Gingersnap. With her, he had already shared a litter of two kits. Sadly his mate passed away in an (alleged) accident. It took a long time for Fallensnow to pull himself through the loss of his soulmate and it certainly would not have been possible without Thinfrost by his side. Over the years they both fell in love with each other, but due to their advanced ages, neither of them imagine being fertile enough to be blessed with a litter. Until of course they were proven wrong with the birth of Mountainkit. The decision to name the tom with the prefix- "mountain" didn't only come from the wish that he would grow up to be a strong warrior, but also from the fact that even for a kit he was huge for his age. It became a running joke that getting all the milk made him as big as he was.

Even though Mountainkit was deeply loved by his parent they never dared to spoil him more than was needed. To live through even the harshest of winters one needed to be anything but soft if they wished to survive. Or at least that's what they believed. From a young age, the tom had started to show the signs of becoming a mighty image of a cat. In mind as well as size-wise.

Mountainkit hadn't interacted with the other kits in the nursery as there hadn't been many others besides him so finally moving to the apprentice's den was a shock for him. He found himself awkward around other apprentices more so for his size. Due to some bullying from the cats of his age, the tom mostly tended to spare his time training with his mentor or at the elder's den. With age, Mountaingale had come to become very fascinated by battles and wars of the past. Hearing of the noble leaders and brave warriors made his eyes always widen up with wonder. That's what he wanted to be, he swore to himself. But to become a great warrior you needed more than just size. You needed to be able to utilize it as well. To take advantage of it. With his newfound fascination and ambitious heart Mountainpaw became very well known around the training grounds. It was like gears had switched in him and now he lived for nothing but battle. This did of course worry his mentor, Fernsnap, who was getting frustrated for his apprentice's lack of skill and interest in hunting. But because Mountainpaw could technically feed himself if push came to shove he didn't want to make a big number on it. He was soft like that. Because of Mountainpaw's parents advanced ages, Fernsnap had started to unconsciously adopt the role of a parent for Mountainpaw. For the good and bad of his training.

Becoming a full-fledged shikari was no issue to Mountaingale. His assessment had gone smoothly. Even his hunting skills hadn't been lacking that time to the amazement of Fernsnap. Though afterward Mountaingale could be heard swearing to never hunt again. Though sadly that promise would be broken sooner than he would have liked. His mother passed away a few moons after his graduation taking Thinfrost a few moons after with her. Losing two mates had been too much for Thinfrost to handle. Everyone thought it was for the best, however. The aged warrior had certainly deserved his rest amongs the stars. Mountaingale hadn't been much phased by his parent's passing, but not for the lack of care. He had long known it to come sooner or later and thanks to his deep faith in the starclan he finds reassurance in the belief that he will meet his parent again someday.

Now, most of his precious time is spent honing his battle skills. Sparring others being his most preferred type of past time. He is a strong believer in the idea that the only way to become a formidable warrior is to act like one day in day out. There is no rest on the battlefield, but only for the dead. After all.

~Name: Hailstar

~Age: 37 moons

~Gender: She-cat (she/her)

~Clan: WinterClan

~Rank: Leader

~Orientation: Demiromantic demisexual

~Physical Description: While her coat may be quite beautiful, Hailstar is a cat of raw power. She is not the typical slim feminine feline- no, Hailstar means business. The muscular, tall molly makes quick work of whatever snow falls on her harsh territory, capable of shoving her way through drifts and walking on heavy snow with her large, semi-flat paws. Hailstar is a silver tabby, with a platinum, silvery-white base that is but a few shades away from matching the pure white snow. However, she is still patterned with heavy, black classic tabby markings that swirl across her powerful form. The leaders wears an intense pair of grass-green eyes that match the mark on her shoulder that signifies her as clan leader. Her coat is long and thick, keeping her warm during even the most brutal leafbares in WinterClan.

~Personality Traits

+: Disciplined, organized, patriotic

/: Maternal, responsible, selfless, protective

-: Obsessive, argumentative, grim

WinterClan's leader is what any cat might expect of a clan harsh in atmosphere: she's tough, responsible, a she-cat hardened through life's gruesome trials. Nonetheless she is disciplined and capable of ruling her clan with an iron-fist- tough love, as they might say. She bleeds her clan's colors and is a highly organized leader, decisive in her thinking and a true leader over her clan. Hailstar welcomes every challenge in stride and works tirelessly to better her clanmates and ensure their safety. However, there's no doubting the protective, maternal outlook she has on some cats (her brother specifically). That being said, Hailstar has a ferocity like none other. Her protection has evolved into a painful obsession, and she'll stop at nothing to exact her revenge on those who betray her. Her outlook on life is relatively grim, but she's willing to stop at nothing to ensure that her clan doesn't just succeed, but thrive in a fruitful and safe lifestyle.

~Backstory

Hailkit was somewhat of a rarity, the only kit in the entire litter between maternal Fallingstar and stern warrior, Bearcall. She was spoiled, simply put, but she didn't seem to let it go to her head. Hailkit was driven to be as successful as her mother from day one, inspired by patriotic stories from her parents. Her mother's success never went unnoticed- especially by the other clans.

While some of her former nursery-mates found themselves suffering from crushes and alike distractions as adolescents, Hailpaw was a hardened apprentice. She was focused on training and impressing her parents, while spending late evenings listening to stories from her elders. She held her older clanmates to a high level of respect.

Hailstorm was one of the first warriors in the history of her clan to finish her assessment early. It became obvious that Hailstorm was a rising star in her clan, much to the pride of her mother and ever-faithful father. She continued to work hard, because she had ambitions to one day become leader like her mother before her. Fallingstar had been thinking of such- but Hailstorm wanted to prove that she was to become deputy not because of blood relation, but because of hard work.

Her eventual promotion was undisputed. Hailstorm served her mother as deputy for three moons before Fallingstar decided to step down, and enjoy raising Hailstorm's younger brother and sisters. The newly made leader was eager to meet them, and wished to be the best role model possible. It was dangerous for Fallingstar and Bearcall to have kits at such an old age, but they were willing to take the risk to enjoy the previous leader's retirement.

Fallingstar officially stepped down after her second litter became three moons of age. However, peace was not to last. Something went wrong- something suspicious. Bearcall and his mate took a walk with their young kits after Hailstar got her nine lives, and was resting from the journey. A cat had rushed into camp, announcing that they had scented blood, and could not find the family.

Hailstar rushed into WinterClan's territory, frightened. The scene was most gruesome, and what she found was her mother, father, and younger siblings, all dead. All but one: Frostkit, who had been hiding within a fallen log. Hailstar swore to raise her baby brother, and avenge the death of her parents and siblings. SummerClan scent had been scattered about the scene, and WinterClan quickly suspected foul play.

She kept her promise, and took on her baby brother as her own apprentice.

~Family Members: Fallingstar (mother; deceased), Bearcall (father; deceased), Petalkit (younger sister; deceased), Rootkit (younger brother; deceased), Mousekit (younger sister; deceased), Frostpaw (younger brother; living)

~Name: Frostpaw

~Age: 8 moons

~Gender: Tom (he/him)

~Clan: WinterClan

~Rank: Novice (mentor: Hailstar)

~Orientation: Too young

~Physical Description: Frostpaw's coat is absolutely stunning. As a black smoke he is littered with silvery hues from his undercoat, most apparent on his tail, belly, and lion-like mane. Already the tom is good-looking like his father before him, despite still growing into his awkwardly large paws. Clearly, he will be a tall cat, littered with trained muscle like his older sister. He has darker ghost stripes littered throughout his coal-colored coat, but he lacks any white spotting.

~Personality Traits

+: Cooperative, enthusiastic, good-natured

/: Ambitious, chummy, competitive

-: Erratic, excitable, naïve

Frostpaw...well, he's somewhat like a giant kit, easily influenced by his older clanmates yet still incapable of sitting still. Despite all the bad in his background, he's surprisingly happy-go-lucky and never seems to be short of positive energy. He gets along with his clanmate swimmingly well and is well-known for being relatively obedient, but this does get him into trouble if he's in with the wrong crowd. Frostpaw likes to get along with his fellow WinterClanners, so he tends to fall for just about anything. However, it's all out of his good heart- he doesn't really mean anything out of it. He can't really tell when he's being used to do something wrong, considering that Hailstar is typically there to guide and protect him. Nonetheless his high energy also makes for erratic behavior, where Frostpaw is outright unpredictable and sometimes...obnoxious.
