Till Death Do Us Part...(Interest Check)

For many years, The Pack of the Twisted Trees have lived deep within the mountains, surviving off of the plentiful prey therein. Without too many surrounding packs, and allyships with all but one thereof, there is little conflict from outside sources.

Within the pack, there are many secrets--hidden behind den walls, and rotting deep below the soil's surface. A web is woven of deciet, false promises, and the hoarding of emotional and physical resources. 

On the eve of the first day of October, it begins. A mysterious fog, thicker and heavier than the evening mist that tends to settle upon the camp ground. It smells of rancid prey and takes upon the color of smoke. It's hot and heavy.

Wolves begin to fall one by one, ailments affecting one in every three. No one is spared.

The herbalist is struck, her eyes glazing white as she collapses. She is catatonic, alive, but unresponsive. For now, she will be no help.
