Badger Bite was born the brother of Red Beetle, the son of Watchful Basil, and the grandson of the past Herbalist, Foxglove. Even from a young age he adored helping his grandmother collect herbs, always eager to listen and watch as she made the remedies that would seemingly work miracles in their pack. He was mesmerized with her ability to heal life threatening wounds and cure diseases with such ease and familiarity -- and he wanted to learn how to do it himself. The moment he became an apprentice, he made it clear to both Pathfinder Pondhawk and Foxglove that he wanted to be Cyclone's next Herbalist. The two had shared a knowing glance, and Foxglove accepted him as her apprentice with a soft smile and eyes full of pride.
However, Badger Bite has some big pawprints to fill in regards to taking over for Foxglove; but between her patient teaching methods and his eagerness to learn, he caught on quickly and currently shows great potential in becoming a Herbalist.
