Sewing/knitting/crocheting/etc enthusiasts?

Knitting and crocheting always seemed too complicated to wrap my noodle around. I admire the folks who can tackle that stuff.

I sew! My grandma taught me how to sew when I was a small pup to keep me busy while she was sewing. I started by hemming and tailoring my clothes but gradually moved on to repairing plushies and furniture. As a teen I worked with car upholstery and learned how to pattern and estimate fabric usage. Now I just repair the stuff my dogs destroy and make the occasional plushie.

I've never figured out a sewing machine, but that's one of my goals. I got my grandma a sewing machine and I've been eyeballing it, but she has yet to break it in. Someday.. someday.

I sew and crochet. I started crocheting when I was put into residential mental health treatment back in December of 2019, and have been obsessed since! I've made hats, drawstring bags, amigurumi, fingerless gloves, etc. I'd like to start crocheting doll clothes, and perhaps accessories for my fursuit.

I've been sewing since I was about 7-8 years old. I've made mostly bags and some doll clothes, but would love to start making fursuit accessories, as well as maybe fursuit parts! I handsew, but right now I'm setting up my Grandma's sewing machine.
