your comfort show?

River Monsters got me through a lot of bad days. I don't know what about it particularly interests me as not super into fish or fishing but if I'm having a bad day watching a couple of episodes tends to help.

But mostly I listen to a podcast called My Brother, My Brother, and Me. In fact I'm listening to it right now! It's like the background noise of my life. When I'm at my computer I put their episode youtube playlist on shuffle and just let it play. I've heard all their jokes a thousand times but I still laugh every time.

I watch a lot of X-Files when I need something relaxing. I used to watch it when it was airing on TV as a kid so it's a very comforting show for me.

The Resident, it's like medical thriller novels that make sense except in TV form! And it's not a bastion of accuracy, but it's better than Grey's and House.

Parks & Rec for sure! Or One Tree Hill, which I sort of grew up watching. The theme tune gives me warm fuzzies lol.

How It’s Made - Probably the most relaxing and satisfying show to fall asleep to or have on in the background in my opinion.

Some old cartoons I've seen already like 100 times. Like Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Alfred J. Kwak and most importantly... Moomin, the one from the 90's. It's just so nice and chill and comforts my Finnish heart.

It's a CN oldie, in that it turned 12 years old this past Saturday (ironically) but my fave show as of currently that I like going to when I have the adequate focus for it has to be The Secret Saturdays.

It's always been special to me, although finding people to talk about it with is...difficult.

I don't know if it counts, but I have a lot of comfort movies (anything from Pixar!) but if there's a series I ever watch when I'm feeling down, it's Gravity Falls <3

Mine's always Brooklyn Nine Nine or The Good Place! Just some lighthearted comedy!
