{~ Welcome To Tiger's Treetop Tales ~}
~Please Enjoy Your Stay~

Silence.
You looked around the beautiful ethereal clearing you'd come to find, rounded ears switching back and forth. The map said they'd be here... was this all a joke? You wondered with an internal groan, looking back down at the thin papyrus scroll before your paws. There was a big red "X" on it, supposedly where you were at this very moment.
It had been given to you by a small, old vixen you'd met on one of your many travels. She'd said that coming to this place would bring you many joys, especially since you obviously enjoyed the art of literature...
You rolled up the scroll, stuffing it in a satchel hanging from your flank, securing it safely. Even if it was just a cub's toy, it still looked cool, and you certainly wanted to keep it.
Turning around, you began to walk away from the guided spot.
However, it wasn't long before you could feel the unnerving sensation of someone watching you.
Feline body tensed, your eyes shot up to the canopy, then to the grassy floor, aimed at the thick trunks of the forest. There was nothing to be seen. Probably just the old mind playing tricks. I really need a drink, You decided.
Lo and behold, after a bit more searching, you came across a dazzling crystal clear pool, sunlight from the opening in the treetops dancing about. Little bi- and tri-colored fish swam around, keeping their distance from you as you lowered your form down to the water and begin to lap it up.
It hit you with a refreshing boost you've never experienced with anything else. Licking your dripping maw, you growled lightly. This place is too foreign. I better find the way out of here before I get tranced or poisoned, whatever this forest has in store for me.
Your thoughts were disrupted by the creaking of the nearby trees. You stared at them warily, anxiety fluttering in your stomach. The sound wasn't coming from the bases of the trees themselves, but rather... the branches.
You turned your eyes upwards. There, staring right back at you, were a pair of lovely dark brown eyes, almost as black as the curious pupils within them. The sleek body of a golden tiger followed, her pelt shimmering softly.
The tigress climbed down the tall trunk. She was smaller than you'd expected -- smaller than yourself, actually -- but she still held challenge in her eyes and she stalked towards you, her head tilted as she studied you precisely.
In the blink of an eye, the feline was beside you, and she pulled the papyrus map out from your satchel, unrolling it.
"Ah, a customer, hmm? Or are you just here to look at what I have?" She questioned in a gentle voice, sweet to the ears.
You were at a loss for words for a while before shaking your head. "Oh, uhm... I would like to just look for now. If I see something I like, or if you could possibly make me something--"
That was all it took to make the little tigress's chocolate eyes light up. She returned the scroll back to you. Tossing a few things into the water quickly (which looked like crumbs to you), you watched as the colorful fish swam up and ate them happily. When you turned your head to face the fellow feline, she was already back up the tree.
"What are you waiting for?" She called before disappearing into the canopy.
Smiling softly, you followed her up the tree. She made it seem so easy, you realized, as it took you longer to make it up, but once you made it, you could see a network of wooden planks going all around the canopy surrounding the crystalline pool.
The golden tiger was laying on two elk pelts woven together. Little suncatchers were hung all over the place, casting scattered, minuscule rainbows all about. Tall wooden shelves held books upon books, while smaller ones displayed collective trinkets and ink pots.
As you laid in front of the tiger, you noticed ink stains on her claws and digits. It made sense, you thought, as you took in the workspace around you.
A little tap brought you back to the present. You looked back at your "hostess", as you decided to call her. A bowl with red roses wrapped around the base was set between the two of you. You guessed it was for currency.
"Welcome to my Treetop. I think names are overrated, so you can call me Tiger." The feline smiled brightly, crossing her forepaws gracefully. She let silence settle in for a bit before clearing her throat.
"You've taken in the sights and, surely, you must know what I do for a living. Would you like to have anything made for you?" Tiger asked in her dulcet voice, her ears perked, awaiting an answer.

I have a question: Can you write quotes?? Like, as in a memorable thing that they might have said that aligns with their personality? (It wouldn't have to be long, something like as long as this sentence.)

I sure can! Those can be for free, too, since they are so little. It would be kinda weird to charge, lets say, 5 SC for a teeny tiny quote lol. Anywho, thanks for asking first, though! If you are interested in getting one/multiple done, just PM me so we can discuss it easier :)

Hey Tiger, how versed are you in writing dark or gloomy poems and writings based around a certain character or theme? For instance, if I described and gave a description of a character to you, could you write a brief interaction or poem? I have a new character and I struggle to get started with them, I was thinking maybe seeing someone else's take on it would help. Besides I love your writing style and if nothing else I can take a poem and slide it into a fancy table to put on her page with a credit to you.

Hey there Scarlet! Thanks for dropping by!!

Thank you very much for the compliment! On the other hand, onto business, I believe I understand what you are getting at..! I am perfectly fine with writing darker/gloomier settings, and I can try my best at a poem, but I believe I'd excel most in an interaction, and I wouldn't have to use their name at all if you'd prefer that!

If you have any other questions, I'll gladly answer them for you!
