“Remind me why we ran again?” Caspian asked panting a bit but not feeling tired at all. Caspian sat down and looked towards the way they just came “we were here first. There’s no way I’m leaving” Caspian growled baring his canines a bit.

"they are hunting me" Crystal said "i think" 

Crystal looked around, trying to listen if they had come to sniff her out yet and caught the worried face of Caspian 

“Hunting you? For equal?” Caspian asked confused “did you do something to them?” He questioned trying to figure out what she meant. Caspian looked around before sniffing the air trying to pinpoint any unfamiliar scents “well either way lucky for you in an amazing tracker!” Caspian bragged proudly about his amazing scents of smell.

"when i travelled to far from my pack," Crystal said, "i came into this land thinking it was abandon... well it was at the time, but they followed me here and attacked me." Crystal looked a little afraid, "they thought that i was an easy target, being alone and being so young." she walked closer to Caspian.

"but thats ok right?" she asked.

'hes so strong' she thought 

“I will admit I’m not the best fighter I got my ass handed to me a lot by my friend who was a beta” Caspian chuckle sheepishly remembering that pup like male. “But I did learn things from him through sparings we did” Caspian grinned at her “so I’ll think we’ll be good. If you’ll like to stick around me I wouldn’t mind”. 

Caspian sniff the air closing his orbs trying to smell anything unusual or unfamiliar in this area having to come to understand what scents should be here and which ones shouldn’t.

"um.. are you sure i can?" Crystal said, "i am ok at fighting but not the best... living by yourself comes in handy sometimes"

she came closer, not to close so he would freak out but close enough.

Caspian nodded not seeing anything wrong with that. “Yeah we’re friends right? And friends look out for each other!” Caspian smiled at her. “But only if you want to of course” Caspian told her making sure she didn’t feel like he was being pushy towards her.

"yea i am fine with that," Crystal replied, "only if you are?"

Crystal moved a little closer. A big crash cam down, Crystal jumped into Caspian. 

"sorry," Crystal said, "i should go see what it came from" 

Crystal walked towards where the sound came from. "rats" Crystal said 

Caspian nodded as he sat down “eh rats are good well there’s no food i guess” Caspian shrugged as he watched the rats run off. “Don’t taste good tho” Caspian shook his head with a disgusted look on his face “but food is food!”. “But I don’t mind if I did I wouldn’t have suggested it silly!” Caspian teased

"rats are annoying sometimes i guess" Crystal said, "they make an easy target, if you are dying for food" 

Crystal let Caspian meet her gaze. 'was that a moment?' Crystal thought 'i shouldnt rush into thing should i?'
