Wolf Bio Example
Young Hogsmeade emerged from the dense mountain growth, the brambles tugging at his ears. He pulled his haunches from under the bushes and straightened up, lost in his own world. The morning light speckled across the ground, dispersed by the shady pines. The dew was still freshly strewn among the grass and leaves that covered the rocky ground. Hogsmeade took in a huge breath and exhaled producing a long puff of breath in the brisk air. His peace didn't last long, as a moment later his sister rushed up next to him giggling. "Can you believe it brother?" She almost yelped. She danced around, throwing leaves in the air as she frolicked. Hogsmeade smirked and shook his head. This was their first hunt ever, and he was excited for what was coming. He turned around and saw the woods moving as 5 full grown wolves emerged from the undergrowth. They had healthy coats and bright eyes and they began looking for tracks. Hogsmeade trotted to the hunting leader and followed his motions. Soon he noticed some tracks and pointed them out. The older wolf howled and they grouped together and headed out, following the tracks Hogsmeade had found. They trotted along, and Hogsmeade was in awe at the fluidity and power of the hunting party. He heard someone mention a moose and Hogsmeade's heart raced. He loved moose, but also knew it was a fierce prey. After about a mile they turned south and headed down the mountain. It took Hogsmeade a moment, but he realized they had almost wandered into the neighboring packs territory.  Hogsmeade strained to catch a glimpse and was lucky enough to see the other wolves. Their hunting party moved away back into the depths of their territory, but something caught Hogsmeade eye. A young female followed her hunting party just as Hogsmeade was. She had a gleaming gold and black pelt that looked to be made of silk. It was just a moment, but Hogsmeade's heart fluttered and he tried to follow her with his eyes as she disappeared.

It had been almost a year since his first hunting expedition. It had been a year since the pack caught prey as large as a moose. The land dried up and so did the food, and Hogsmeade worried for his pack. The older wolves had already grown sick, most of them had died from lack of nutrients. Pups were no longer living past a few weeks since the nursing mothers could not produce much milk. Hogsmeade paced through his packs home, glancing at the skinny and weak wolves as they shivered in the snow. He eyed the alpha male as he licked a bone clean and walked away into his den. Hogsmeade had pled to the alpha, begging that they lead the pack away to find new land with food and water. But the wolves in the pack were stubborn and set in their ways- they would rather die than leave their home. No one would side with Hogsmeade and he was left to make a choice. Die here with his family, or leave and find a new life. For a while he stuck around, hoping things would get better but one day his sister left to find food and never returned. He had hope, but fearfully knew she had simply gone away to die. This was it, the last day he was going to watch his pack die and wait for change. Hogsmeade topped the mountain cliff overlooking his home and territory. The mountain side stretched down for miles and ended in an abandoned valley. He sighed sadly and tore his electric blue eyes away from the desperate scene. It was time for Hogsmeade to find his own home and start his own pack. Hours later Hogsmeade neared the edge of his territory. He looked sadly into the other packs territory, remembering the young female he once saw. He never saw her again, and now worried she had lost her life due to the land dying. He shook his head and left everything he once knew, heading to the mountain peak. Hogsmeade had never seen over the mountain range, and wondered what lay ahead. He slowed his pace and pricked his ears. An unusual scent pulled at his senses and he turned quickly, expecting to see another creature behind him. But the trees were still. He narrowed his eyes in disappointment and continued. He finally reached the top of the mountain, pulling his thin body onto a rocky ledge. He almost fell back down at what he saw. The land on the other side of the mountain was dry and brown. No life could be seen, not even a small pond was present. He almost didn't notice the strange wolf sitting on the mountain edge examining the painful sight. He knew in an instant it was her. She may have been thinner than a year ago, but her pelt still shone in the fading daylight. Hogsmeade walked slowly up to her and sat, their sides just touching. He glanced at her serene face and turned back to the journey ahead. They sat in silence as the sunset hit the horizon. Hogsmeade knew the journey ahead would be impossible, but he would not choose anyone else to endure it with. Peace settled over him as the sun set and he leaned against the wolf who would become his best friend and mate.

Personality Example:

Hogsmeade is best described as charismatic. He may be alpha male, but that doesn't stop him from joining his pack mates in all sorts of environments. He is respected because others have no reason to have contempt for him. He is humble and kind, and does not think he is above anyone else. He earns respect instead of demanding it and it shows. Hogsmeade is very popular with the ladies, and can be flirty and fun. The other males love hunting and chatting with Hogsmeade, and they know not to challenge him.
A rogue wolf does best to avoid Hogsmeades territory all together. When he comes into contact with other wolves, he is very aggressive and protective. He will not wrongfully attack an intruder, but if provoked he will use lethal force to make an example. Hogsmeade is wary about accepting wolves into his pack, and prefers to keep things controlled. He aims to help any young wolves on their journeys, and is more willing to invite them into the pack. Overall Hogsmeade is restrained but unforgiving if provoked.
